Nino's Meat & Smallgoods Established 1968 reviews
13 I've been driving past this store for sometime now.
I finally went in on Friday, in search for some Cervelatwurst, (did not make this).
However, after inspecting their various cuts of meats, I purchased 2 crumbed chicken breasts.
What impressed me was they round down to the nearest $ - your purchase.
I was given 2 samples of their specialised cured meats, which they make on the premises.
SOLD = 5 of that one & 10 of that one.
I used the crumbed chicken breasts to make a Parmigiana, (including their ham), and wow deliciousness 100%.
No more "C" meat as its just rubbish, and I'm aiming to go back and buy my weekly meat & their specialised cured sliced meats.
Truly a treasure of a meat store with customer service.
Found my way to Nino’s smallgoods yesterday in search of a traditional salami.
I transacted with Ilario and Daniel and was very well looked after, purchasing some delicious lamb chops and a traditional salami.
Bountiful selection of continental meats and helpful, warm service. Highly recommended.
I remember going here back in the early 90s with my grandma. I remember the smell! There were some red leather single chairs on the left hand side. My grandma would buy frozen ravioli and I would always get a free slice of fritz from the butcher:)
My italian mum and I have being eating Nino’s salami for the past forty years and hope to enjoy another forty years more. Simply five star service and produce. You guys at Nino’s should be so proud of what you have achieved since 1968. Many thanks to you.
This would be the best place to buy the best cuts of meat smallgoods what ever. Thank you Nino Damon from roaring 40s loves your products
- Australia's best salami -
I bought some Nino's products at Harry's Homemade in Nelshaby; they told me it is made in Adelaide.
I looked them up and visited the store. I was expecting a long lineup, marble countertop and whatnot but it is a small butcher and smallgoods shop that makes and sells Australia's best salami.
I got one for immediate consumption, one for my daughter and one to age a bit more. I will be back to restock.
Thankyou to all the lovely staff at Nino's. We have been shopping here for many many year's. Your Cappacolo is the best bar none, we travell from Goolwa AT LEAST once a month to stock up our fridge. See you on Friday bright and early for another shop up.
Best Italian sausages in Adelaide, 100% flavour, my favourite, I would recommend travelling across Adelaide just to give them a try, you won't regret it and then YOU'LL BE BACK FOR MORE
Nino's meats and small goods is located at 659 Lower North-east Rd, (corner of Byfield Ave), Paradise. This butcher sho and on site factory was established in 1968 by an Italian family common to this area. Larry now runs the family business. Italian can be often heard in this polular butcher store. Highly recommended.

Magnificent little Italia joint full of tradtion and family. You see the superb quality as soon as you enter, backed-up by the people and the products. 50 years strong and will continue to grow strong forever. This is a must visit place. Reminds me of the Steven Segal's movie 'Out for Justice' minus the violence and swearing. Grazie Nino & family and see you again soon.
I have been a customer of Ninos for many years and have always found the meats to be of high quality for a reasonable price. The staff are helpful and the shop is spotless (the previous review about it being filthy is ridiculous)
My usual purchase is porchetta for entertaining large groups of friends. It always receives very favourable comments when I cook it on the rotisserie. This weekend was no exception with everyone saying how delicious it was. It was lean, juicy, tender and just the right amount of spice. Yum!
