We have been customers of Newton's for over a year now and every experience was good except for recently.
We were served by a younger guy who I hadn't seen before and he was quite rude and had an attitude problem. He went out of his way to make us feel stupid, even laughing at us and pointing out our mistake several times. We got it the first time, you don't have to literally laugh at us and make us feel stupid.
We remained polite but it was an extremely uncomfortable experience and I honestly would prefer to take my business elsewhere, than to be treated like an idiot.
I would suggest some further customer service training.

Good prices, the delivery guy was great. There did seem to be a large amount of dirt in our rocks in a large pile, perhaps scooped accidentally while filling the truck.

Needed some Forever Black Bark chip and spoke to Peter on reception who put me on to Stephen who helped me with everything from how much I required to where and when I needed it. It was as if I’d known him for years the way he was easily relatable and his friendly service was exceptional. Tony the delivery driver was great as was Carol who followed up to see if everything went smooth. Top notch service, five stars.

Great place for all your garden needs from soils, gravel, sand, artificial lawn to the real stuff & there is so much more that you'll just have to go & see for yourselves, & the yard is very neat & tidy

Although they didn't have what I needed in stock, Marcus personally went to their other store to get them for me the same day. The guys were super helpful and even brought everything out and put it in the boot of my car for me. Thank you for the great customer service

Really friendly and helpful staff. Love the crushed granite, a unique product for garden beds. The delivery driver was prompt, friendly and went out of his way to unload in just the right spot and the delivery fee was very reasonable.

Visited today to see what they have, as we are planning a rock garden. They have everything we need and some. Huge range of rocks, all shapes sizes and colours.

Great place for landscaping and building needs. They are also a CSR Hebel reseller and very experienced with the product, they a massive range of irrigation supplies including pumps and controllers, great prices on their range and great prices on Husqvarna and Ego garden tools and mowers including ride-on mowers. The guys are really helpful everytime I visit and best of all they are very knowledgeable with their whole range of products. It is a great place for novice homeowners wanting to start landscaping projects or even building with Hebel. Would highly recommend

Always helpful and staff always keen to go that bit extra to make sure you get what you need rather than trying to simply sell something. Usually available at short notice for delivery too.
