Newmans Nursery Ruins

I am a non-Indigenous person born and living on the invaded, never-ceded lands of the Kaurna people. This site is a reflection of the heinous ongoing violence against First Nations people in Australia. The signage is embarrassing and tells only the colonial story. No heed is paid to the Traditional Owners whose land was stolen so the nursery could be built. The ongoing havoc the introduced plants wreak on the ecosystem is devastating. With all my heart, I am so intensely sorry for what people of my kind have done.

Love these ruins, highlight of visiting Ansteys. Best when the weather's cool and the area is nice and green.
