New Century Restaurant

I always order from here but they have been declining my orders the last few times and the price has gone up 20 for my usual order.
Never again.

Woeful. Can see why they have received a couple of other 1 star reviews. Don't know how they got 5 star reviews to be honest. Sweet and Sour Pork was one of the worst I've ever had. Kung Pao chicken was average at best. But dont even think of ordering roti or curry puffs from here. Roti was soggy, greasy and undercooked. Take off the menu if you cannot cook it. Curry Puffs were cheap frozen ones that had very little ingrediants in them. Highly recommend to stay away from.

Food outstanding and good size. It was a shame the food came out slowly. But well worth the time

The food was absolutely delicious. However, very awful customer service, the table cloth was dirty. Overall, good portion size and right price for the dishes.

We usually have their food but this time it was tasteless.
My sweet and sour pork was watery and the pork batter hard.
I will not be going back

This is my favourite restaurant in Mawson Lakes by far. The food is so unique and full of flavour that it’s just amazing every single dish I’ve nearly tried and not one could I say was ok they are all 20/10. Well done and keep up the amazing work.

We ordered one of our favourite take-away combinations last night and as usual New Century nailed it! We get special fried rice and chicken satay skewers; I've tried this at a variety of other places and no one does it better. A satisfying and delicious treat meal - thanks!

I would have rated this restaurant higher it service is very haphazard. First they bring my meal out then they bring my son's meal out 10 mins later which in my opinion would have been easier to cook. Food is on par with other Chinese restaurants around the place. Didn't like the waitress leaning across to end of the table in front of people instead of walking around and serving from the right as they are supposed to. That just shows rude manners. I could pick about more but this will do.

We had my wife's birthday dinner here tonight 07/01/23 with 12 people.
The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful.
A special mention to the young girl serving tonight she was outstanding always smiling (A genuine smile not the fake kind)
A truly pleasant evening.
Will return for sure.

Totally recommended. First time visit here but I have ordered delivery many times and since the food was so yummy I decided to paid a visit and dine in with the family. The food is delicious with good prices but what take this place apart from other similar in the area is the top-notch friendly customer service. Definitely a place to visit if looking for good food, great service and a good time.

Ordered the barramundi. I couldn't cut it with a steak knife. The pieces I managed to put in my mouth took me a while chewing. Even the chips were below average. The whole dish Inc my wife's Tofu she ordered went in the bin.

Thank you for the absolutely delicious food! Our first time ordering tonight on my birthday & it was so yummy. The fried dim sims are huge with great crunch, the salt & pepper squid perfectly tender & generous, the sweet & sour pork tasty & not too sweet, the lemon chicken juicy and tender. Everything was really perfect and we’re definitely coming back!

Nice food appeared to be very popular and busy, probably a good idea to book especially for a Saturday night.

Lamb with cumin had no sauce whatsoever, so made for a very dry mix with the jasmine rice. Sweet and sour chicken had no pineapple which the menu stated it did.

Being a long time customer, this restaurant always was superb but the last 3 times of ordering take away the orders have been wrong AND bland in flavour. 3 strikes and we are done.

Went there for dinner had lemon chicken the chicken was so dry it was as if it was just batter with very thin chicken wont being go back

New Century is the best restaurant in the Mawson Lakes area, the variety and quality of the dishes is just incredible. The prices are so low I often leave wondering if they've undercharged me.

Easiest 5 star review I've ever given.

Generously portioned and tasty. Was waiting inside for my pick up 8 minutes after the order was confirmed as ready by the restaurant; the wait time wasn't too long but I would prefer they don't indicate it is ready prematurely.

First time going here it had a good feel about it as well as a nice layout I had the butter chicken and really enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and will happily answer any questions you have and have good serving etiquette highly recommend will be going back here again

I went here last week and had to wait 55 minutes until the food came I was very disappointed when it came because i ordered salty fish with chicken fried rice but they put in lots of salt and no fish at all. I also ordered softshell crab toss with salty egg yolk and again lot of salt with fried chicken yolk instead of proper salty duck yolk also do you see any crab on the plate in the picture instead of flour. Like seriously do the chefs not know what they are doing or do they just want to trick customers? Look how much food was left over on the plate. What a wase of money for this poor rated place.
