This is the best Adelaide Hills winery.
There are not many other places you can enjoy a spectacular bottle of wine on the grass enjoying the view they overlook.
The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the wine and very friendly and accommodating.
The wineries views, wines, and cellar-door are world class. Absolutely incredible!

We visited on Sunday with our qld guests, Alice greeted us with a warm smile, despite the unusual adelaide weather! A lovely winery, modern and stylish,
Alice gave us a great tasting experience, she took her time to teach us about all the wines on offer, her knowledge of wines and the region was exceptional, she really is an asset to nepenthe, thankyou Alice.

Great experience whilst visiting the newly renovated Nepenthe Cellar Door. Knowledge and passion and genuine rapport from Imogen was brilliant.

Tasting platter was perhaps a little expensive for the amount on there but a few extra drinks and you soon forget.
Sit inside or outside with plenty of room to soak in the sun and let your eyes wander over the hills.

If you haven't visited this place yet, you're truly missing out! Nepenthe has excelled in their renovations with this venue. It's Instagram-worthy! Featuring rolling hills of lush greens and vines. You can enjoy various seating options, whether it's relaxing on the sunbeds on the green area, lounging by the cozy wine barrels, experiencing the class and elegance of the dining space, or sitting on the balcony overlooking the vines. It's a delightful experience, if it's a cold day they even have stunning fireplaces to keep you warm! The staff are exceptional, you can tell the team structure has been designed and developed with the wine enthusiasts in mind, very friendly and helpful and ready to chat and make your wine experience a memorable one! A special mention for the fantastic team led manager Ashlee, she brings the staff together seamlessly and should be recognised for her amazing team management skills. If you're seeking a laid-back Sunday session with specialy selected food trucks and live music, this venue should be at the top of your list. Adelaide offers a plethora of options, but this location is a must-see for both out-of-town event-goers and locals alike. Kudos to the team for their incredible work – it truly shines!

Came here a few weeks ago with family and we were looked after by Mick. Fantastic tasting, knowledgable, fun and great guy! So much so we came back a couple of weeks later and signed up to the wine club. Thanks Mick and also special mention to the manager who looked after us the second time around (apologies totally forgot the name)!

We had a lovely experience wine tasting with our hostess, Ashlee! The site is beautiful, with a wide variety of wines. The tasting was tailored to our palate. Ashlee is so generous and friendly, sharing information about the wines and the local area. A wonderful morning!

Her knowledge was superb and she tailored our tasting to our specific tastes yet challenged us to go outside our comfort zone. My husband and I recently booked in for a wine tasting. Ashlee was fantastic and explained each wine really well.
We ordered 7 bottles to be shipped to Qld and didn't feel pressured to order more.
We'll certainly be ordering more in the future and visiting again when in Adelaide next time.

One of my favourite wineries. Staff are so friendly and knowledgable and the setting is completely stunning. I may be a little obsessed with their rosé.
