Ned Kelly Bakery & Cafe reviews
59Take away. Food 3/5. Customer service 3/5. I'm a returning customer. Eaten here a few times.
Freshly-baked goods with very fast service. Nice to visit if you're in the Port Adelaide area
Nedrick Kellington's Bakery was absolutely stellar! The food was oh so scrumdidilyumptious! Toodle pip, 5 stars.
Delicious coffee, grandkids loved their kid sized donuts. They were busy but efficient so we didn't have to wait long.
No steak or kidney in the pie that I had, if there was some in it it was minced beyond recognition or taste, all in all pretty ordinary, on a positive note the staff are nice!
Had the Ned Kelly pie, beautiful tasting, with plenty of egg and bacon. Excellent place to stop in, with good parking off the main road. Can’t complain.
Not my cup of tea unfortunately. Well patronized business but personally won't be going out of my way to stop in again.
Staff pretty much didn't let you finish.looking after ordering a pie which was nice but desert would have been good. Coffee was cold but got fixed
I have never had such awful coffee anywhere. My Coles $4 coffee tastes better than theirs. It was just coloured water. After spending $20.40 on 3 cakes and 2 coffees, it was overpriced rubbish. What a waste of money.i could have bought a lamb roast for that!
5 stars for a few reasons! Firstly open on a public holiday - thank goodness, we were craving a bakery feed! Great selection of pastries & pies, I got the steak & mushroom and the pastry was so delicious and flaky, the filling was oozing out and my partner got the potato pie which he thoroughly enjoyed. They also sell espresso coffee which I’m yet to try but they have the good brands of alternative milks (Bonsoy). We also got a custard tart which was delicious! I’ll be back!
Ñice little place just at the beginning of a main Rd but plenty of parking great prices BUT even better FOOD! JUST TASTE IT!
Neds bakery has delicious food, I recently asked them to make me a gaint kitcherner bun they did a fantastic job.
Had a strange thing happen at this bakery today. I wanted to buy a basic lunch roll to take home and make a sandwich with and they had a whole pile of them ready to go, but they wouldn't sell me one. Apparently they were all 'reserved' for them to make double-cut sandwiches with and I had to settle for a small roll with sesame seeds or a vietnamese style roll. What if I don't want sesame seeds? Or maybe I'm not that keen on the rather firm vietnamese rolls. Nope, they couldn't possibly sell me one of their coveted lunch rolls. Not even one. Why not have a couple of spares in case a customer wants a basic roll? You're a bakery! Ridiculous.
The Family Potato Pie has Been made a regular staple in the freezer as its divine. Amazing bakery with quality products. I get regular reflux with most bakery goods. But Never from Ned Kelly's.
Crickeys Cobber! That's some fair dinkum Aussie tucker. You little bloody ripper! Strewth.
* Great steak pie
This was my local bakery for many years and I have always had exceptional customer service over that period. Recently though it seems that this customer service has declined as they seem to have hired new people with no social skills or personality. I came in the other day and ended up walking out because not only did I not get greeted but I also did not get served even by standing at the counter. This is not the first time this has happend but this has only started happening recently since staff turn over. You will be losing valuable customers if this is the way this business keeps running.
They advertised they open until 4pm, when you get there at 3: 32 - they can’t make a coffee. It’s in a cleaning mode.
Great food, coffee, service and banter from a great team. This Bakery is my go to place when I'm in the area.
A decent place to stop for some baked goods. The pasty was definitely the highlight - very flakey and buttery.
Best pies I've had in Adelaide Hands down I will most definitely be back there that's for sure ️
