Naracoorte Swimming Lake

I was so impressed with this community initiative. What a great facility in a hot part of SA and its free!

Well done to the council! Kids absolutely loved swimming here and best bit was absolutely free

Beautiful place for a swim, particularly for kids. Not Dog friendly unfortunately, however there is an area to the North where you can tie your Dog under the trees.

Fantastic place to go and cool down on the hot days, meet up with friends, have a picnic with your family and friends or just a social place to hang out.

The sand beach is ideal for little ones to play in and the gradual way it gets deeper is great for every parent to let the kids have freedom to enjoy the water.

There is shade under the trees, but it is limited. I recommend taking your own shade if you plan to stay long on hot days. Yes enough space for your gazebo.

Not bad, could do with BBQ that don't take 1hr to cook! Could use some more shaded pool areas

Wonderful area. I love the lake, and wish more places would do things like this! I stopped in for the toilet and shower. The shower is not hot but when you're on the road, a shower is a shower, right? ! Beautiful place. If my kids were little, I'd probably take them here regularly during summer.

Super clean, nice shallow play areas for the kids and some fun deeper spots for the bigger kids! Can also swim laps there, and plenty of grass and tables for picnics

My grandsons love this spot, I can usually find somewhere in the shade to watch them. Wor of warning though, there's no lifeguards on watch. So be super vigilant.

Great place to cool off man made pool with beach. Both times I have been here has only been a few other people
