Naracoorte Hotel/Motel

We were driving across Australia with no plan and decided to check in here as we got tired. They were open very late which worked for us. The casino and bar were a surprise but it made the place very alive.

The door did not lock from the inside (no security lock), which felt weird.

Always been a great pub, stayed many a time with work in the motel. Plenty of meals and beers here over the years and always had great experiences

Booked a lunch here today and when we arrived there was no one there, no patrons or staff or service.
Our party of 4 went to the Bushmans Arms and had a lovely meal

The food at Billy Macs is amazing! I had the chicken pesto pasta. Best in AU! Friendly fast service. A must visit if in Naracoorte!

A must visit place in Naracoorte!

It was a sudden visit though, was heading towards Adelaide after a tiry drive from Melbourne and stoppped over for lunch at this spot. It had a decent and a nicely designed dining area. Service was fantastic as we met Fernando who was so helpfull and was so nice to us. Food was delecious, Should not miss the Beef curry as it was my fav. Defenetly will visit this amazing spot again soon. Keep it up!

Had a dinner here with the family and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. They were a good portion size and were quite tasty (we had schnitzels and a beef short rib). We attended the quiz night which is on every Wednesday and had a blast. It was fast paced, had a good atmosphere and was an overall great night. The service was also fantastic, with all staff being attentive, helpful and very polite. 5 stars.

Attended here for a pub dinner with a group of work colleagues. Most chose the Thursday schnitzel special ($18 for a full size) but I chose the lamb pie. The pie was flavoursome with tender meat but it really was just a slightly larger sized bakery pie that could have used more sides - peas, potatoes etc. For $27 I was underwhelmed.
Overall the pub is large and has loads of seating for family and group dining. Also has a drive through bottle shop.

Good food, good service great room. Lady in the bar acknowledged us and apologised for delay as there were only 2 doing food & drink. Would stay again & recommend this venue

Staff were friendly but the food was awful. After waiting 45minutes our food came out roast of the day, meat very fatty and tough and no real flavour. Ordered the gluten free Thai red curry seems it had been frozen and then reheated in the microwave served lukewarm to cold in some parts. Truly awful.

We stayed 2 nights in the motel. Clean, comfortable, and convenient. A little overpriced given there is no room servicing. We'll come back.

The bar staff were great positive vibes and made you feel welcome, and kimi the cleaner of the rooms went above and beyond to make all guests happy, rooms were cleaned spotless if you needed anything she would accomodate for that would highly recommend to any friend or family member heading out to Naracoorte.

Kimi the housekeeper was and is amazing, she’s an absolute pleasure always goes above n beyond with my room service, room looks n smells amazing even folded my clothes, had my fan going so when I finished work I was really surprised compared to some other accommodation I’ve stayed at Naracoorte, I enquired to find out her name because she needs to be acknowledged so this one’s for you Kimi and thanks again!
Id also like to add that my entire experience at this fine establishment has been great the food is great the staff are lovely I highly recommend staying, dining here they get 5 stars from me all day long, I’ll be back next week!

Contrary to other reviews, i have a fantastic meal at the Naracoorte Hotel. Bar staff were freindly and accommodating. Food was perfect and well presented. Definitely worth a visit.

Haven’t dined here for a while, and don’t think we will be rushing back any time soon. Definitely wasn’t as good as it used to be unfortunately.
We didn’t get our dinner rolls (ended up having to ask for them), and one of the kids’ meals didn’t come out with the other, so we had a very unhappy toddler.
Meals were average for the price paid. 500g rump looked much smaller than we were expecting, and was overcooked. Got told there was no option to get chips with your steak (even as a side), so got stuck with chat potatoes and a piece of broccolini. Then had to pay extra for a side of vegetables. Bit rich…
On the plus side, the service staff are always pleasant and helpful. The pub has a great atmosphere, but the meals need improvement.

Good hotel, in the centre of Naracourt, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food plus gaming room, close to caravan park, good parking

It's a rowdy front bar when the footy is on the TV. QR code food ordering system accepts orders and debits your card - even when the kitchen is closed.

Twice I have been to try and order dinner here and both times I waited over 10 minutes, rang for service serveral times and no one came to serve. Very disappointed in customer service.

Went to the Pub for dinner ordered meals got charged 70ish dollars for a salad, main, and a glass of wine. Had to wait an hour for food as they could not keep up with the demand when only half the pub was full. Multiple complaints from other customers that had been waiting for longer than us as other families were served deserts while half an hour in and we still hadn't got anything. The food was average overpriced and not worth the wait easier to go to a better place nearby or the McDonald's down the street. 1 star
