Nalou Kitchen

Delicious breakfast- Mexican corn fritters were nice but not quite the usual fritter style, more like a corn doughnut; smashed avo generous in size. Great coffee and hot choc. Friendly staff. Kid friendly.

Staff wasn’t friendly, they charged more than the menu said for a long black (which was quite watery) and our slice of cake didn’t come until we already finished our drinks. Strong oat latte was very good.

Ordered chicken waffles. Waffles were substituted for pancakes without letting us know. Egg was overcooked, chicken was dry, pancakes were very crumbly. Bacon and maple syrup were good though. Overall, food was disappointing.

Service was fine - nothing special.

Atmosphere was good.

A bit slow in food service, but substantial portions. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault!

Lovely and well presented food. Tea was super strong so could do with less leaves but really happy with the food.

Great place to meet up with friends. I had a great coffee and delicious pushed eggs on toast. Cooked to perfection.

I have been to this place many times and they have never gotten anything wrong or let me down. Their food never fails to please and nalou will definitely remain my favourite Cafe because of its lovely food and staff. I would definitely recommend nalou to people who want to have a quick bite to eat with friends and family!

Lovely food, slightly long wait time but the only main issue is the lack of exhaust fans in the kitchen you end up walking out smelling like a deep fryer

Service very slow (waited over 40mins for meal). We had only ordered a chicken wrap and avo smash. And to make matters worse my food was lukewarm when it was finally delivered only after the waitress was notified that we had been waiting so long.

Came in early sunday morning when they open at 8am. Quiet and only us and another group. With this i would assume that we would be in and out. I was wrong.

Lets start with the ordering. No english tea. We were informed that the staff knew they had run out yesterday. But during that time no one went to purchase more.

We waited for our food for a long time and could see it under the heat lamps which sat there for 10+ minutes. The barista was only making coffees but helped moved food AFTER she finished all her orders. The other waitress was carrying coffees one by one out to the other tables and still spilling coffee. While our food was still under the heat lamps. We enquired if that was ours and she said she will check. We noticed that where she was collecting coffees was right infront of the food therefore she knew it was there. Well when we got the food it was cold. Looked pretty but cold. No point in telling the waitress as she didnt apologise for the wait and if we said something we would have been waiting another 30mins. And i would say there was no management on site.

All in all the staff doesnt look trained and seemed unprofessional. If you want a nice meal thats hot and you can eat with still a full cup of coffee. Look elsewhere

SUPERB.food and service.i ate the caesar salad with chicken the girls ate a pulled pork buritto.a chicken wrap.plus we had sticky date pudding with warm icecream and a raspberry brownie.yummie yummie yummie very filling.you must go and try.

Met some friends for lunch. Good food, reasonably fast service. Nice coffee. Good variety of meals specials. We'll go back again.

We ordered the waffles and egg on toast with sides. Potato fritter was good. Halloumi was nicely grilled. Toast was soft and buttered just the right amount. Scrambled egg was very creamy. Waffles were good too just the right amount of sweet.

Beautiful service. Flavour bom with everything. Lovely space. Art work on the walls and outside gorgeous.
