Murray Street Vineyards reviews
47 Hello,
When I lived here in Greenock for a while, I was of course also here in this winery. I only lived a few hundred meters away and drove past here almost every day.
A beautiful winery that doesn't just make a living from growing wine alone.
In the summer months there is a really great little craft market here every month. You can taste and buy different things here, wine, beer, honey and other things. There is also super good little finger food and really great live music. This market is known far beyond the borders of the Barossa Valley. So if you're here, you definitely have to take a look here, it's definitely worth it.
I had a good time here.
What an incredible intimate winery, we chose the Reginal platter for two and it was plentiful with a beautiful bottle of the artisan GM's. Our host was very knowledgeable of the region and all the wine's. Recommend and superb value for money. Thankyou Murray Street winery.
Absolutely delightful winery! Awesome vibes.
We say under a grape vane cover balcony looking out over the old brick winery and the vineyards
The tasting plate was perfect for two people over a tasting each
Absolutely gorgeous spot. Staff were very friendly and full of info. (South African lady) We purchased the Estate Grenache Thank you!
Absolutely lovely place. We chose a sharing plaster for lunch, which was delightful. Highly recommend spending an hour or two.
Had a nice tasting here yesterday morning. Well done to the young woman who ran it. All the best guys!
Visited here 5 years ago after extensively visiting vineyard cellar doors. At Murray Street they seat you and bring the wine to you. After 5 years they are still doing this and instead of chasing tastings around the wine country, this is a great experience. This is an exceptional "slow down and smell the roses" sort of place.oh and left with a few bottles
Great service and atmosphere. Very dog friendly. Unfortunately nothing in the Estate tasting grabbed our attention.
Great experience here today. Lucia, our host, was friendly, knowledgeable and very interactive. The platter was amazing as were the wines.wwine
A wonderful experience. We arrived quite late, but Nina was happy to do a wine tasting with us, even though it took us past her clock off time. Great wines and the best Tawny Port (1985) I have ever tasted!
What an absolute amazing experience we had here. By far the best! This place just charming & calm. Staff are attentive & patient- thank you Tim.
Gorgeous place and wines with stunning gardens and buildings. Jordan our host was lovely and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for a relaxing platter and wine on a Sunday arvo, games for kids and welcoming of furry friends ️
It's is the perfect place to enjoy fabulous wines and a great platter. The garden overlooking the vineyard is beautiful.
Murray Street Vineyards never disappoint. Beautiful location. The best wines. Great service.thanks Tim. You must try the platters they make with local produce.
Extensive tasting, very nice cheese plate and a great spot with fire pit.
Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
This place is amazing! Second time coming and can’t fault it. It’s peaceful sitting back enjoying a tastings and their regional platter was highly recommended. Taylor’s service was spot on. So friendly and we enjoyed a good laugh as well as her service. If you want a good experience come to this place. We will definitely be back for a beautiful day outside.
Visited this winery on Saturday. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I really enjoyed the wine tasting and all the explanations and informations provided by our host. Beautiful setting, which reminded me of the south of France. Beautiful garden outside with nice group tables and a fire pit. We were only 2 so we sat inside which was really nice too, with comfy seats and love the decoration and the paintings on the walls, very stylish. The wine was really good and we ended up purchasing a few bottles to take home. They do platters as well (but I believe you have to book in advance for that) I will have to come back to try the regional platters with the wine. Also it can be a bit cold there especially when all the french windows doors are opened and all the wind stream is circulating in the main room so make sure you wear a good coat so you can fully enjoy winter time outside/inside.
A beautifully presented set of buildings & grounds. Leana was very helpful and informative and had a great sense of humour. And we enjoyed the wines!
This winery is ‘must ‘ during any Barossa visit. A super setting overlooking the vineyards, with authentic and authentic looking stone buildings. Leana was a very welcoming and gracious host with a great sense of humour and a superb knowledge of the wines available. On top of that, the platter was generously filled with delicious regional produce and the accompanying wines were top class. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Had a lovely experience here. Used my great state voucher and had an amazing wine flight as well as the best platter ever. Thanks for the great time.
