Muratti Cakes & Gateaux

This place is alway a treat to eat or have a coffee and/or eat/order celebrational cakes from. Their cakes are divine. The only problem with this place is i don't live nearby.

The cakes from Murati were absolutely fantastic! I wish there were a similar place in Canberra. Despite arriving late and finding most cakes sold out, I indulged in three cakes and coffee, and it was an amazing experience!
I'll definitely make a return for another delightful experience.

Cakes tasted good and there are lots of choices, haven’t tried coffee, must try it next time. BTW when it’s raining sitting outdoors will give you tremendous experience.

The store specializes in cakes, and there are many varieties. In addition to cakes, there are also pies and rolls. Coffee and hot chocolate are also good.

Muratti saved the day after my wedding cake order was cancelled 3 days prior due to the baker contracting covid! I ordered a croquembouche online and picked it up on the day. It looked and tasted sensational, forever grateful!

Nice place to pick up a Birthday cake and good variety of home made cookies. Seasonal fruit cake is my favourite. We enjoyed a really good cup of coffee and pie while we were there. Highly recommend the pumpkin and zukini slice

My family bought me a cake for my 70th birthday and it was absolutely magnificent. Over the last couple of months we have had the privilege of a least 4 different cakes and they haven't disappointed us. So thank you very much.

Used to be busy, funky, place filled with a positive happy people. Update April 2022, ownership changed and the place is no longer what it used to be. Cakes are different and not up to standard and Muratti tradition. It is still busy but the cakes are plain and ordinary. End of one beautiful traditional l European cake shop

I’m not a religious person but this bakery is as close as I get to going to church. Everything they do is on a sublime level from the sourdough loaves to their cakes and patisseries. If I occasionally have to wait for my coffee or food, it’s always worth it. After all, spiritual experiences should be savoured!

Picked up a cake I had ordered on Saturday couldnt believe the box it had come in was covered in dust. I know I don't eat the box but seriously in this way of living at the moment it could have been placed in a clean box and I paid $80 for the cake.the guy that served me wasn't too interested as he just wanted to serve another customer as they were busy.

The best desserts in town! So many to choose from. Coffee is good too. Never disappoints. Lots of room to sit outside.

The one thing I absolutely love about Muratti Cakes and Gateaux is that they are consistent every single time I have been here. I have had their cakes, biscottis, croissants and coffees, and it is always perfectly made. Every time I have here they are always busy which is a testament to the quality they deliver to their customers. I highly recommend you come here and try anything and I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed. Their staff are so polite and friendly no matter how busy they are. This is why I have been going here for the last 4 years.

Service is always friendly, but very much rushed - cafe is constantly busy so staff are always under the pump. The single serve gateaux are a bit rich/overly sweet for me, but the cheesecakes are perfect! Iced coffees are always a winner too.

Without a doubt one of the bests in the town. Very friendly and professional staff and nice service. The cakes and sweets are just phenomenal.
Bakery items are nice and fresh specially i love the croissants. The coffee is so good as well. The snacks and sandwiches are delicious and the atmosphere is nice and warm. If you love cakes, chocolates or bread and sweets, that is the place to be. Well done to the team.
