The manager/ male is very rude and should not be in customer service. Disgusted with his attitude.

Rude service from the older man serving. Looked annoyed at having customers to serve. Cream served with overly dry scones was fake, and turned into water as I was eating them. Coffee was not served in a takeaway cup as requested, and was too hot and quite bitter. Did not see one staff member smile the whole time.

Coffee was extremely hot and was not enjoyable, there was definitely no service with a smile; the 'milkshake' was smaller than the coffee - the only good thing was the muffin

Girls serving were rude! When my drink was ready it was slammed on the counter and they ran off laughing with each other. 1 star because 0 isn't possible.

Recently went to Muffin break. Staff were very friendly. And I received my free muffin for my Birthday on the rewards card. And best part was the hot chocolate was hot.

The changes to the centre has made this café an even better place. The seating arrangements at the back are very cozy and good. Prior to the centre upgrade one had to sit in the space in front of Woolworth's or round the back of the cafe. It also meant that there were no power outlets available due to the OH&S requirements (tripping hazard caused by power leads) ; this made it difficult to use a laptop. Now, there are a couple of power points situated just under the seats at the back. The coffee here has always been good and the quality consistent! The muffins are also brilliant (try the double choc) The proprietor Gary, has a very good team of people here. Michelle is an absolute gem and is a very able manager. The other staff members (Chloe, Brooke, Abby) are very courteous, pleasant and efficient. Each time I visit (at different times of day) I notice that the cafe is busy and gets plenty of repeat customers. That says a lot about the cafe and the people who you will have looking after you. It may not be the cheapest coffee but it's good. The Muffin Break franchise also has a loyalty scheme which gives you a free coffee after 'x' number of visits and a free muffin in the month of your birthday. Can't go wrong with that

So being a lover of coffee and finally putting my rewards card onto my phone, very surprised that if you order a COLD coffee ie Large Skim Iced Latte this is not counted toward your reward coffee.which I have learned is only a small sized coffee anyway!
There are far better rewards available at other coffee places.
Toasted sandwiches are great though!

Have noticed that a lot of people have also had negative experiences with the staff. Although the older male was relatively inoffensive the times i have gone, i personally felt that the older female staff member ive encountered has been noticably rude, being quite cold the only time she served me, yet at other times has noticeably often cherry picked the customers she bothered to serve. She clearly did not wish to serve me, but have observed that she shows more courtesy toward some customers over others.

Am not happy with that sort of behaviour. As customers, we just want to conduct business in a reasonably courteous and efficient manner and to move on. Being ignored other times only to see said staff member then arbitrarily pick their customers is incredibly rude and poor behaviour. Have stopped going here as its more often than not an unpleasant atmosphere and there are far better options on offer.

Very poor customer service and looking at the other recent reviews, I'm not the only one that feels this way. The older man behind the counter needs training on how to treat people. Newsflash even if you are having a bad day and don't want to be there, it's your job. You'd get more customers if you treat them well and with genuine care. The store looks great and the muffins are yummy but that's not enough.

I won’t be going back there ever! Very rude & was treated badly, if u don’t like serving customers then don’t do the job!

Drink was nice, but the guy the served us was a bit rude and looked annoyed, he didn't smile the while t i me I was waiting.
One of the girls that made my coffee kept touching her face and nose.
I don't usually complain but this service was just so poor that I need to let it be known.

Every time we’ve gone to buy from muffin break we’ve been met with arrogant behaviour from the manager or average service from the ladies up the front. Today I was willing to give them a third chance - same behaviour. Definitely encourage people to go to lunches etc instead as the staff are lovely and the coffee is brilliant. Not a fan of the manager using his bare hands to work the muffin mix either. Very unhygienic!

Perhaps start listening to the feedback and change things up.

Have been getting coffee from here for the past 8 years and keep coming back. Gary and the team are always friendly and the coffee is always good!

If you wish customers to order food/drinks in a precise location, please put signage in place. Staff were not very customer orientated. Walked off & bought food & drinks elsewhere.

Hmm.very cocky but VERY average coffee! I even asked for an extra shot and ‘please make it strong’ I got a sarcastic remark and the coffee was like dishwater, the Asian place in the middle has 400% better coffee IMO
