Muffin Break

Absolutely disgusted with the service I received today. I ordered a gluten free muffin and saw the worker pick up tongs from the gluten section that had touched the trays full of wheat. I said sorry do you mind using fresh tongs. She huffed and puffed and found another pair of tongs and shoved the muffin bag in my hand. I explained I’m a coeliac and will get very sick to which she didn’t reply. I usually have such great service at other Muffin Break branches around Adelaide. Staff should be trained with allergy awareness and basic customer service skills!

Gave a Whatever vibe, bacon egg on Turkish bread was tough, stale and raisin toast no better. Coffee was average. The food would be a nuclear threat from a Karen just fyi.

I am an aged care worker and on Friday the 23rd of June, I stopped for a coffee and cake with my client at about 3pm. We had ordered 2 coffees, medium. One coffee was ok the other was large, I said to the girl, that's a large, she said I don't have a smaller cup.i said she won't be able to hold that one, she grabbed a smaller glass and just poured it into the glass, spilling it everywhere, I looked at her and her co worker says that was a but aggressive! She said yeah it was. I said can u put it on a clean saucer, grabbed one and put it on a clean one. The coffee was terrible and no apology was made. If your staff wore name badges I could tell you who it was. Bad customer service, will NOT be going back there. It has definitely gone down hill. Tables are always dirty and food on the floors. Lift your game Muffin Break. Especially with St George Bakery In the mall now, you won't stand a chance

Two stars for the coffee and muffin but zero stars for service or friendliness. Wouldn’t go back, not even for convenience if at West Lakes. Table was filthy. Staff could learn to smile and be more courteous.

Asked for a warm hot chocolate as it was for a child. Received it and it was hot.this is the second this has happened here. The girl took it back filled it with cold milk and said the cup was hot. Very unlikely. Its cardboard.heating the milk to 60 degrees isnt warm. Wont be going back again.

Gone down hill order a sausage roll it was cold and taste funny would not recommend this place at all!

My go to place for a cup of Long Black at West Lakes. I don't eat any cakes, just want a seat in peace which I always find.

Slowest service ever… even with five staff behind the counter and only two customers you are left waiting. Do you need another register so that you can attend to customers waiting? The staff look like they can’t manage their time efficiently.

Delicious coffee and muffins but the tables were only 30-40cms apart in the dining area. Very squishy, cramped, crowded and if Im not mistaken, I believe we should be seated 1.5 metres apart with the covid dining rules.

Muffins were lovely and the coffee is beautiful and they don't charge extra for different milks which takes the cake for me!

Work in the Shopping Center, have bought lots of coffee before. Service is good every time I spent. However, just want a cup of hot water, the service is really bad. Even no eye contact when I spoke thank you.not coming again.

Rudest staff I have ever met! Most of the girls who worked there were very nice and polite. But this older guy just being so rude when I said I have a free coffee on my app. Not helpful and appeared to have the worst day at work. This bad comment only directs towards that male staff and that’s enough to ruin the experience of getting coffees from muffin break in the future!

Literally the worst experience ever.running around like headless chooks looking like they don’t even know what they’re doing.forgot about my order and was waiting 15 minutes for a toasted sandwich.ridiculous

I would like to say Lauren at West Lakes Muffin Break is a lovely young lady with impeccable manners and great communication skills. Everytime she is on shift, she always greets you with a smile and never ruins our order. You are lucky to have this young lady as an employee. Top notch service Lauren. Well done!

We love our MB's always dependable for a good cuppa and fresh food and this onec was no different.

Coffee is always good as is the service. Muffins have an element of sameness about them but are ok.
