Since the last review, that's been put, we are yet to receive our refund.

Will be taking this further as well.

Great food, good verity including wholsome vegan foods
Great friendly staff. Rooms are well equipped.

Friendly and accommodating host. Room was good besides a yucky smell and shower that wasn't that great with keeping water contained with in it. Food was tasty

Called in 3 weeks ago and had a beaut lunch. David the barman so helpful and lots of local info.
On our way back through from up north today, indifferent bloke in there. Said no staff and no lunches. Was just looking for some good pub grub. Give it a miss.

Omg. The FOOD! Best meal we've had in a long time.
Onion rings are to die for.
Great service considering they were so busy with the cycling event.

Great little country pub, typical pub meals, just the go when you're camping in the Melrose Caravan Park

Dropped in here Sunday afternoon and enjoyed friendly service providing a really good steak cooked just as i asked, chips cooked perfectly and cold beer. My navigator enjoyed a Chicken Yiros with delicious chips.
Couldn't be happier with the decision to call in!

Great hospitality and service on a busy night I had a chicken snitzel it was very nice cooked to perfection, I would definitely recommend this hotel the best pub in Melrose, all the staff get a big thumbs up. Will definitely recommend this hotel, I will be coming back.

We went there for lunch on our way back to Adelaide.
The staff are friendly.
Good size serve of food.
The bar has a good amount to choose from.
It is clean.
I do recommend stopping here while travelling through the Flinders Ranges.

Best Schnitzel parmi I’ve had in a long time! Cut through it like butter, so juicy and tender.
Salad and chips were also good, and complimented the main. Worth stopping off if you want a bite to eat! 10/10

We were actually impressed with the quality of food and service here. Many thanks to the chef, boss, and waitress! It was spontaneous that we went here for my birthday dinner, but right now considering to stay one more night in Melrose so we can go have dinner again at Mt Remarkable Hotel

Cheap and cheerful. Bed was comfy and shower was hot. Dinner was generous pub food. Owners were friendly. Only down point was wait staff did not clear tables so dirty dishes were left on tables well after people left. All up was a great spot and will go back to spend more time around Mt Remarkable

The drinks are cold.
And i just had the best beef schnitzel I've had in a long time, and the salads were pretty good as well 10/10

My brother and I stayed here recently whilst hiking the Heysen Trail. Really nice and cosy atmosphere inside and yummy food. The staff and locals are very friendly and accommodating as well. Rooms were approximately $80 for a twin bed/room and were nice and comfy and hot showers too:) thanks!

Overcooked rib eye, very average veg bar and super slow service. Granted, a busy weekend but it took 45mins wait just to fix up the bill (a tab set up at the bar) After 30mins waiting at the bar, we were told to go to the restaurant and then had to wait another 15mins.

Meals are always fantastic and massive. Cooked to perfection! Will definitely be back again and again. For a small country town that swells beyond its capacity on long weekends they still pump out fantastic food and service
