Mt Bera Cellar Door, Restaurant and Winery

Wine tasting was casual and informative.we really enjoyed it. We also had a delicious meal and all the staff were so pleasant. A must!

An an amazing tasting experience followed by a top class meal in the evening. Super friendly and attentive staff too! Accommodation very comfortable and close to cellar door and restaurant. A must when in the Adelaide Hills.

Sorry but the pizzas we ordered were probably the worst we had had before. We did eat them as we were hungry. The margarita one you could Hardly see or taste the tomatoes. Most places have slices of tomato on top of the cheese and you can see and taste them. The eggplant one was awful. The salami pizza my husband had was edible. On all the four pizzas the bottom was soggy. Top crust was OK.

Such a beautiful setting with delicious wines to match! Greg & the team are amazing and generous hosts, no matter the occasion. Can’t wait to return for another delightful visit and to restock our wine rack. Thank you Mt Bera Team!

Have been a few times unfortuanatly very disapointed this time with our pizzas which were served burnt. The service is great and owner is informative on his wines.and lovely views.

An absolutely delightful day of delicious wine flights, cheese & charcuterie board, wood oven baked pizzas, a fantastic view of the Crawford forest & Greg.
Greg made a lovely day memorable with his vast knowledge of wine, climate specific grape varieties, moon phases & travelling stories. We had visited this lovely winery in the past & were so happy that we chose to visit again. Definitely would recommend.

Mt bera provided excellent creative food (vegetables with the main were sooooo delicious, service and wines. Lovely place to sit and enjoy celebrating with family. Waiting for summer to enjoy the open verandah.i

Very impressed with the owners interaction and descriptions of wine and vineyard. Manicured grounds and delicious wood fired pizza coupled with an A1 wine selection. We all left with full belly's and a dozen of gummy finest.

My husband and I have been lunching at Mt Bera for a number of years now. We always enjoy the tasty food, the excellent service, and the ambience. It is has been good to
see this winery which started from humble beginnings developing into such a popular place to have lunch. And then there's the wine of course.

We had a birthday party here and the staff were so lovely and helpful. The venue is gorgeous, the wine was all amazing and the food was delicious. Would happily recommend to anyone!

Finally shared the Mt Bera experience with our friends from Melbourne.
They were extremely impressed.
The wines as usual were exceptional, the food was excellent, balanced flavours, good size serves, beautifully presented and seasonal.
Staff, welcoming, polite and so knowledgeable.
We sincerely love this place and have been regular guests since the beginning of 2019.

This is one of the best wine tasting experience I had in SA. Truly a hidden gem in Gumeracha. Great customer service, excellent wine, scrumptious food! Highly recommended!

Lvely setting, views, and friendly helpful staff. We had lunch in the Cellar Door section. Food was quite nice, but not very big seves.

5 Star all the way, from the ease of booking, friendliness of staff to the quality of Chef's Tasting Menu and Mt Bera Wines. Loved the relaxed vibe and the $15 tasting was the way to go with no charge if you purchased bottles of wine. How fair is that? We will definitely be back with a group to show off our find. Also thank you to Greg for sharing his passion and knowledge of all things Mt Bera.

We two and two of our friends ended up choosing the Chef’s menu for Lunch to celebrate the long weekend. Oh boy! That was the best decision we made. Every course, including the bread was top notch. We were so pleased we made sure we went around to thank the Chef as well. The staff are awesome, the chairs were so comfy we didn’t feel we had sat on them for 4 hours and didn’t realise we were there for that long. Bestest place to dine!

I had a perfect birthday lunch here. The food, wine and service was exceptional. This was the best winery experience of my life. If I could give 100 stars I would.

Property was beautiful! The staff, service, wine and food were amazing! Will definitely be back!
