Mt Beare Station

Our wedding at Mt Beare was one of the most amazing days. The numerous visits prior to the day to the venue not to mention the prompt communication while organising the wedding from a distance, all contributed to our day going exactly how we envisioned it. The amount of decor as well as the facilities the venue offered made for easy execution of our day, matching our vision.

A big thankyou to Ian for all the communication, help on the day and in the lead up in making sure everything was run smoothly, and assisting our venders where required from setting up to packing down and everything in-between.

Our guests and ourselves could not talk more highly of this most spectacular venue. It truly made us feel warm and like we were at home. The views and scenery at the venue were breathtaking and made for the perfect backdrop.

It was an absolute delight working with Ian and Kym from Mt Beare! They made our wedding day run seamlessly, helping from setup to packdown, ensuring we could focus on enjoying our big day. The venue was absolutely gorgeous - very clean and well kept. The decor options for inside and outside were beautiful and matched our aesthetic so well.

Even now, our wedding guests are still speaking so highly of the amazing venue! We couldn't recommend Mt Beare highly enough!

Mt Beare Station provided the stunning location of our wedding earlier this year and we cannot rave about + recommend it enough! After one viewing with Ian in August 2021 (and prior to the venue hosting any weddings) we booked on the spot. Ian and the Mt Beare crew have thought of everything and you will be in excellent hands should you book Mt Beare for your event.

- Flexibility to visit the venue + assistance with set up/pack down/and on the day to facilitate a smooth event.
- A picturesque, peaceful outdoor ceremony location + stunning undercover barn reception. SO beautiful and minimal styling required - we let the venue shine in all its glory! A venue that absolutely felt like 'us'.
- Vendor/supplier recommendations by Mt Beare allowed us to book our incredible caterer (Chopping Board Catering).
- So many inclusions that make Mt Beare an amazing all in one event destination - the provision of the gorgeous furniture + styling props made it so much easier for us to organise our day.

Beautiful area for a wedding venue if it’s a hot day please take a hat & sunscreen as there’s not too much shade during the ceremony near the water’s edging. Friendly atmosphere & the food was lovely. Great refurbished shearing shed, good parking on site.

This is truly one of the most magnificent venues in SA. The Fleurieu is such a stunning part of the world, so why wouldn’t you want to get married at Mt Beare. The owner was so accomodating, the food was delicious, the hospitality outstanding and I can’t wait to hold another event here soon.
