I started my experience in the office with David, sales rep, who discussed the styles and types of pergola that would be acceptable with the Council and my landlord. He then came out on site and gave me invaluable assistance in determining exactly what options would work for me. Following approval I was advised by David as to the delivery date, then the construction date. John started on the Monday and on Tuesday afternoon, with help from Peter, it was finished. John and Peter were meticulous in every way - punctual, knowledgeable as to how to avoid or manage difficulties, and so clean and tidy in the way they left the site. Pergola is terrific, David, John and Peter were terrific. I am stoked! Thanks guys!

We contacted Mt Barker Steel to build our front and back verandahs. What really impressed us was Craig’s vision, advice, experience and knowledge in the design process. He was extremely helpful.
The installation was very professional and the workmanship was meticulous. Craig kept us up to date during the whole process, made numerous site visits. The workmen were a pleasure to work with and kept the site clean and tidy.
Very happy. We ended up with a great result that was way above our expectations.

Very polite but could not help me with my project to lazer cut a headboard insert. Apparently it will take too long to programme measurements.

We have just had a carport supplied and installed by Mt Barker Steel. Sales - David was great to work with prompt on returning calls and on time for appointments. Had them try to make stainless steel kicker and trim for a outdoor kitchen. Three times and three weeks it took them to get it right. Dented, scratched, wrong angle on trim, very poor welding, wrong size. Cost me time and money to use this business. Also had them supply fence post ordered 2400mm and got 2100mm.

I have dealt with these guys many times over the past years and find that they are knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Would and do pass on their details regularly.
