Great Korean food! Love the spice levels. Mind blowing Korean Cheese Corn. Definitely recommended to try it if you haven't. Will surely visit again.

Awesome food and service. Restaurant was tucked away and had great atmosphere. Food came in large portions and was really good.

Eh. Chicken was soggy and the sauce was floury. Beef bulgogi was touch and chewy. Service was average. Definitely better Korean Chicken in SA

The food tastes good but the prices couldnt justify it. Their soup is around $22 and this is all the amount of beef I got, the rest just some tofu cubes and veges. Small bowl of soup as well. Banchan is only kimchi. Could have been better for the price I paid.

A Delectable Korean Delight @ 128 Wakefield St, Adelaide!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at the Korean restaurant at 128 Wakefield St in Adelaide, and We must say, it was an absolute treat for our taste buds! When we stepped inside, We were greeted with warm hospitality and a cosy ambience that set the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience.

One of the highlights of our meal was the original Korean fried chicken, prepared in the original style. Crispy on the outside yet incredibly tender and succulent on the inside, every bite was a burst of flavour. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and had just the right amount of crunch, making it an absolute delight. The accompanying dipping sauces were a delightful addition, enhancing the dish's overall taste.

Another standout dish was the Kimchi Jjigae. As a fan of spicy food, We were delighted by the rich and fiery flavours of this traditional Korean stew. The combination of tender pork, tangy kimchi, and the perfect blend of spices created a symphony of flavours that left me craving more. It was the ideal comfort food that warmed both our hearts and soul.

The must-try Samgyetang, a Korean ginseng chicken soup, was a true revelation. Served piping hot, this dish was a delightful fusion of health and taste. The tender chicken, infused with the subtle flavours of ginseng, was accompanied by a medley of herbs and spices that created a wholesome and nourishing broth. It was a hearty and satisfying dish that left us feeling rejuvenated.

To complement our meal, We couldn't resist ordering the Korean corn cheese. This dish was a delightful combination of sweet corn kernels and gooey melted cheese, perfectly balanced to create a harmony of flavours. The slightly caramelised corn added a pleasant crunch, while the cheese provided a creamy and indulgent element. It was a delightful side dish that added a touch of comfort to my overall dining experience.

The service at this restaurant was exceptional throughout our visit. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and always willing to offer recommendations or answer any questions I had about the menu. Their knowledge and passion for Korean cuisine added to the overall dining experience.

In conclusion, my visit to the Korean restaurant at 128 Wakefield St in Adelaide was outstanding. From the heavenly Korean fried chicken to the flavorful Kimchi Jjigae, the nourishing Samgyetang, and the delightful Korean corn cheese, every dish was a testament to the culinary mastery of the chefs. Combined with warm hospitality and attentive service, this restaurant provides an authentic and unforgettable Korean dining experience. I highly recommend visiting this establishment and indulging in its delectable offerings.

Note: It's important to note that the review is subjective and based on my personal experience.

It was nice to hear that they opened a branch in CBD, and it took a while for me to go to the restaurant. But korean food never disappoints. The chicken was churchy and tender. The kimchi pancake is always good (I've never had a bad one before). Also loved the salad served with the fried chicken. Parking might be a problem as it is in the CBD.

WOW just wow! Food was exceptional! Service was fast and pricing was reasonable. Portion sizes were very generous. Best Korean in Adelaide. Can't wait to go back. KFC is a must!

Amazing spicey pork! Service is fantastic, beer is cold, chilled and cruisy atmosphere and the kimchi hits every time. A must when in ADL.

Portion sizes are generous and the food is great. The venue is clean and sleek and the servers are all great and very fast. And the little rice cakes in our chicken were awesome and exactly what I was craving.

Been there for a lot of time, but today we have ordered a fried chicken half sweet half original with bibimpap bowl. The bibimpap bowl every ingredient especially rice was soggy and tasteless even added full sauce, and chicken was too dry and bland inside. It was better when we visited the restaurant but it is ruined today. Ordered around 7.30pm

The food was good and quantity was sufficient. The spicy pork stir fry wasn't spicy though they should increase the spice

Mr Bulgogi is convenient to my office and makes a great place for lunch meetings. The service is prompt and the food comes out quickly. I've tried several things off the menu and they've all been great but I always have the seaweed rolls. Friendly service which is why it's busy at lunchtime.

Went here with friends for my birthday.
The food was delicious, decently priced and the waitress Alice is so kind and has perfect customer service

Only downfall is they don’t have a freezer so my ice cream cake melted. Don’t bring an ice cream cake

But recommend for the Korean food!

Found a Korean restaurant [Mr Bulgogi] in City. There is no big signs from the street, actually a little difficult to find. There is no glamorous decoration, and there is definitely by delicious food. Crispy seafood cake, Korean beef ribs bones are super tasty, and the serving is ample for us. The best thing is his KFC Korean fried chicken with super crispy skin, and the chicken is still tender. It is combined with refreshing salad and sour white radish.
Most importantly It is not greasy and oily, u would want another piece after another!

Friends who like Korean food, I recommend you to have a try.

Fantastic Korean restaurant, lots to chose from on the menu both food and drinks. They have a delicious lunch special (pictured) Fried Chicken Rice Bowl
Plenty of places to sit and they have K-Pop playing on a TV to add to the atmosphere.
Be sure to keep an eye out though as it is easy to walk past if you don't know it's there. Definitely recommend.

Korean restaurant on Wakefield Street, in the heart of the CBD. Got some Kpop music in the background. Lunch specials were so worth decent portions at an affordable price. And they tasted so good. Chicken mayo was crispy and had a good mixture of seaweed flavour to it. Sweet and spicy boneless fried chicken was also evenly coated and delicious. Just these 2 are enough for me to come back for more. Fried dumplings are alright. The skin was too tough but the juicy meat inside was not bad. Beef bugolgi was also OK, egg was overcooked, should be runny
