Mount Pleasant Bakery reviews
20 Friendly and fast service. Good vibe and atmosphere. Great terrace to sit down for a coffee and a pastry.
For the cyclists: plenty of space to park bikes out front
Lovely bakery with very friendly service. Take away options were good. Good sandwiches and lovely homemade baked goods.
The pies are sooooo good. Some workmates recommended the pies as the best in the Adelaide Hills and I agree. Real meat, perfect pastry and delicious gravy. Gizmo agrees too.
Just had the opportunity to try this bakery, phenomenal.
The pie was massive, deep, fluffy, crispy, thick and flavourful.
Sausage roll was great too, crispy and flaky.
$6.50 for this pie is crazy, can’t go wrong with that!
Once again did not disappoint. Stopped for a late brunch while out on the bike. Excellent, friendly service and food and coffee spot on. We will be back Thank you
Virtually always a busy place - a good sign for a bakery, eh! Service is always friendly, helpful and proficient. The food? An extensive range and very tasty, especially the two pasty lines, viz, Miner's pasty and Ploughman's pasty, but you'd better have a good appetite - they're big! (also have standard sized pasties and pies etc.) I had a coffee there today, along with a Miner's pasty and Barossa slice - all three yum! The Mount Pleasant Bakery is a great stopover point for those of us travelling to Adelaide from the Riverland via the hills route.
Best hot crispy chips and yummy sausage roll. Great customer service. Clean and tidy shop. Lots of food and drinks and groceries and Christmas baking to choose from. Even a wonderful range of gluten free
Very annoying when you go out of your way and drive an hour to get here then they are closed when their website and times in the window are listed as open
The iced apricot slices are 10/10! And so are the pastys!
It's my treat going here, prices are a little on the expensive side - but definitely worth the splurge!
Great bakery for a good coffee and good food, also has great gluten free options. Staff were really friendly and helpful
Steak (pepper) pie 10/10, the girls went above and beyond to make sure I get the pie I wanted and gave me heaps of sauce. Overall a very pleasant experience
Ploughman's pasty=Delicious
Great coffee and Muffins too.
Friendly country service with a smile.
Delicious bakery options and very kind staff. Coffee was very good too with almond milk. Just try this place and give them the opportunity to show you what the have to offer.
Must stop bakery for my travels though the town of Mt pleasent. Pies pasties and sausage roll wont dissapoint. Good coffee too with convenient clean pubic toliet accross the road
Small business more interested in coffee than bread got pasty which was burnt and I could only taste pepper top must of come of and emptied into mix had to put in bin
We came back again to make sure these really were the best pasties in SA! After three months of traveling SA we can guarantee that the pasties from here really are the best in all of SA!
Thank you also to the friendly and attentive staff.
Service - okay- my pie was hot and very tasty (steak and mushroom) - coffee was hot and welcome on a cold day
Really tasty homemade steak pies and custard/lemon tarts. Would have liked the pies to be hotter but will definitely be back to try some more flavours.
Hands down the best pies ever. Highly recommend the pepper pie and the misso recommends the butter chicken
