Monash Adventure Park reviews
44It has changed. It's a lot safer and I'm sure the broken collar bone ratio has dropped considerably. I went here back in Nam and it had a slide the size of a skyscraper. Good times I must say
Beautiful, lots of grass, well maintained, shady, lots of play equipment, water features. One of the best playgrounds in SA!
Changed alot from when I was a kid here but still a great park well done to all who have worked hard to keep it open and enjoyable
Not the same as back in early eighties but what a wonderful transformation. Great family location with all the necessities for a great day.
Kids played for couple hours have a really good flying fox there is a swing for wheel chairs there but u have to get a key for it from council I think it was
Great place for kids. Would be better if the pond was cleaner as this kids wanted to play in the little streams but I wouldn't let them as the water looked to dirty. Awsome few hours with the kids.
Used to come here with our children 40 years ago. A lot has changed since, but it looks very nice. Great for young children lots to do. ️
Being able to remember the old Monash playground as a huge part of my childhood holiday memories, I was sceptical as the pictures I’ve seen didn’t give me much hope. I haven’t been to the Riverland since I was a kid in the late 80’s early 90’s.
Today I brought my own children, 5 and 6yo’s. I’m happy to say I was impressed with the space. It’s beautiful and green. There is play equipment suitable for all ages (from little ones through to big kids) and equipment for kids with special needs. There are remnants of the old, and while I don’t think the new is as daring as the old (not surprising), there’s still lots for kids still to take some risks. I would say it would be good if it opened a bit earlier than 10am in summer as it was quite hot by the time we got there,
Great facilities for bbq and toilets were clean and well looked after. Glad we went and will go back if we’re here again.
Would also be good if there were more images or murals of the old playground. I’m sure there’s plenty of photos around from everyone’s childhood for inspiration!
Great for the kids. Plenty of gold fish to feed and to ocxasion duck. Being a spare change of cloths for the kids or swimmers because the creek that's there for them to run in is fun even for an adult
Great place to head with kids under 12. Heaps of real adventure types of play equipment where kids can be scared but have awesome fun. Free bbqs, water fountain and toilets.
Family friendly playground. Free entry (Just a donation at the park entry) very well maintained and picturesque
Came here regularly as a child back in the 60's, and brought my kids here in the 80's, and always had a great time.despite the lack of safety features on the playground equipment. Fast-forward to 2021 and I happened to be in the Riverland with my grandkids and brought them here. Seriously, this place deserves 20 out of 10 for what it's been developed into, which is an amazing family orientated facility that rivals anything in Adelaide.and it's free (but do the right thing and make a donation and then buy something or eat at the businesses over the road).
Great park with lots to do for all ages. The maze especially was very impressive. However, there were a lot of animal droppings around
It was better back in the 80's when there was bigger swings now with all these rules and regulations it's only good for 5year olds
The kids had a ball even the big kids. Very recommendable and for only a gold coin for the up keep!
Fantastic place for the family BBQ plenty of shaded seating and BBQ areas neat clean and tidy
Would definitely be coming back
A great space with something for everyone to play on. From the smallest member all the way through to the adults. Lots of challenges and fun things to play on and create things with your imagination.
Nice range of activities so suit most people. My highlight was how neat and well kept it was. Loved all the flowing water
Good place for kids. Mini water theme park instead of the ponds would have made this my fav family gathering spot.otherwise the spot is excellent.
