Very well cooked snitzel and I loved the delicious variety in the veggie and salad bar, so easy

The food was delicious the atmosphere was one of friendliness, helpfulness but has a very casual outlook. I liked it and will go back

The function room was perfect and the staff amazing - they worked so hard and bent over backwards to meet our every need - the organization prior to the event also exceptional - would recommend to anyone having a function and happily hold our next event there again

It’s been 6 months since we had a meal here and last night we were pleasantly surprised! It was extremely busy with very few staff on and even though we had to wait a while to get served, we were very impressed with the service. We didn’t recognise any of the new staff but they were definitely an improvement on the old staff! The older lady was an absolute professional and a credit to your business! It’s amazing how much a little customer service can go a long way! We will be back!

I go to a lot of places with my wife for a nice service and food, this place never ever again. The rudeness at this place is full on.

If I could give no stars I would! Saw a staff member drop cutlery on the ground then pick it up and put it back on the table! Staff were rude and the food was very poor. Won't be back

Staff are lovely and such a nice place way better than the clovercrest hotel. If the staff were as nice as this place maybe you'd get more business ️️

Terrible service. We were outside in the Alfresco section which was fine, however the table was constantly having water drop from the plants above. After asking for the table to be wiped down, it kept on dripping onto the table where our food would go, once delivered. I asked the staff member to workout a way to stop it, but they said nothing is possible, I asked to move, and was told nothing was available, the staff mender was extremely rude and basically, it was too bad, but their system was the failure. I asked to speak to the manager, who was able to setup a new table for the 12 of us.
Meals on the menu were incorrectly priced, and when questioned on why we were overcharged, they said the price was wrong on the menu and we had to pay the higher price.
Upon ordering drinks I got the same staff member, who again was rude and very unhelpful.
On the upside the food was not too bad.
Not going back!

This used to be one of my favourite places for lunch, but I went there yesterday and they have really dropped their game. I think the chicken schnitzel was made from a rubber chicken, it’s the only way they could make it that tough. The garlic prawns (not a lunch special) were just warmed up frozen prawns with bottled creamy sauce poured on them. The buffet is back after it’s absence during Covid restrictions, and it was terrible, was much better without it. Coffee was made with hut milk yuk, I won’t be back.

Food excellent not sure about self-serving salad and veg quite a few people not wearing masks I'm sure it happens else where also

A disapointing Valentine evening meal. Side salad was fine. However main course of rump steak was
poor, tough under cooked. Ordered the steak medium to well done but received a medium rare exceedingly tough and difficult to even cut serve.

Food and service is great been here a few times their menu is either undergoing a change or is currently temporary due to COVID reasons but it's still worth the trip and cost for the quality provided

It is possible to order here from your table using your phone. The serves are enormous and as they can no longer have a buffet, they serve you your salad or vegetables on a separate plate with a dinner roll. The schnitzel was very large and very nice. The chips are ok, but could be better with chicken salt. The vegetables were good. The tables were well spread out so it wasn't noisy and it was more covid-safe. The prices are pretty reasonable for the large serves.

We had lunch there it seems to have gone off a bit to what it use to be like all our salad side plates came out with no tomato in them and meal size seemed smaller as well to what they use to be like.

Melbourne Cup lunch at the Modbury today. $55 for a 3 course lunch, arancini balls for entree's, 2 choices mains and desert. A complimentary drink on arrival and lots of great prizes. The dining room looked beautiful, fresh flowers and candles on the table and wonderful staff as usual. Great job everyone!

Steak was average, garlic sauce was watery. Calamari was like chewing on a rubber band. Staff were so rude when we asked if they could clear some of our table for a birthday cake. So we cleared it ourselves. Not going back!

We popped in a little after 2pm today, we were greeted by a really friendly and helpful young woman, so 5 stars for her customer service alone. The setting of the pub is really nice, its open plan, modern and clean. We opted for semi alfresco seating and enjoyed the heaters and water feature while we dined.

The food was great and each meal came with a side of veggies or salad and a bread roll w/butter. It gives you that buffet sort of feel that I think alot of us miss. It was yummy too. The specials are great value for money but even the full priced items on the menu are very reasonably priced with great serving sizes.

Will definitely be back again. It was a really pleasant dining experience.

Really nice environment- the dining, bar and pokies lounge. Really cool cocktail selection range, and nice food.

Excellent evening meals filling and v good quality at an affordable price good service as well.
