Just came for a wine tasting but will be back for the food. Lovely range of wines, a selection tailored to our group's tastes, guided through by very knowledgable staff (not just reading a script). Very appreciative of the time they shared with us. Did I mention the groovy vibe the place gives off too? It does that in spades.

Our wedding day at Mitolo Wines was nothing short of magical; it exceeded our wildest expectations.

The staff provided a level of service that was truly outstanding. Their attention to detail and commitment to making our day perfect was evident in every aspect. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure not only our satisfaction but also the comfort of all our guests.

One of the highlights of our experience was undoubtedly the exquisite food. Our guests raved about the meal, and many mentioned it as one of the best they've had at a wedding.

The level of professionalism displayed by the staff at Mitolo was exceptional. They anticipated our needs before we even realised them ourselves. From the ceremony to the reception, every detail was flawlessly executed. It was evident that the team took great pride in their work and genuinely cared about making our day special.

The atmosphere created was warm, inviting, and radiated a sense of elegance.

We can't express enough gratitude to Mitolo for making our wedding day an absolute dream. FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!
Me and my friends came for a wine tasting and can I just say the customer service was insane. I felt so recognised and heard and taken care of. The wines were so tasty and the scenery was amazing I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

We were lucky enough to attend a Meet the Maker experience. Beautiful wine, setting and staff. We also love Frankie’s and look forward to trying the restaurant soon. Thanks, Mitolo!

My husband & I came to this Godforbidden place to celebrate our beautiful daughter’s birthday & just because one of our friends accidentally dropped some wine on the floor…. Which happens they locked us in with children ensuring we would pay the bill! They wouldn’t return her birthday cake & completely ruined her birthday, the police were then called in. This is so bad for business one would ask why would anyone even step foot into this dreaded place. Will never, ever return! The food isn’t even authentic Italian!

Me and my girlfriends came here for a wine tasting with some light food and it was such a beautiful experience. All the staff were exceptional but a special shout out to Alicia, such a beautiful young lady that really took the time to welcome us and make us comfortable. We will 100% be coming back here and this is our new go to winery!

Absolutely disgusting service! Do not go here. They ripped us off, took a $40 deposit for cake & wouldn’t give it back or serve it despite paying hundreds in food, terrible service & terrible people who then locked us in the venue with children holding us hostage over a bill dispute! Police were called & they were swearing at us in front of 4 young kids

We attended Frankie at Mitolo Wines for a long lunch with my family. We had a Vegetarian and Coeliac guest on our table which was advised at the time of booking. They were served alternate meals to us due to their dietary requirements. After our 4-hour lunch, our Coeliac guest had a severe reaction to something she had eaten. We took her outside where she began to become very ill. My husband went back into Frankie's to advise the staff, where he was directed to speak with manager, Lara Marra. Lara was very rude & unprofessional and would not take any ownership for this serious reaction my sister-in-law had. We decided to leave, and her condition worsened as we drove home. I decided to call Lara, to discuss this further, where Lara was horribly rude and advised me that there was no way the adverse reaction was due to her kitchen and that my sister-in-law must have had a 'bug'. We took her up the hospital where the Doctor confirmed it was an adverse reaction, and due to my sister in law's severe case of Coeliac disease, any tiny bit of Gluten would affect her. Several emails were exchanged, where Lara wrote 'I guess we will never know what happened' and totally dismissed our concern. We will NEVER return to this restaurant as this whole situation has been handled atrociously.

Attended a long lunch at Frankie for a friends Birthday yesterday & absolutely loved it. The vibes were immaculate, food delicious & the staff incredibly attentive… Lara one staff member in particular went above & beyond - her service was the best I’ve received in a very long time! Hats off to you Lara, hospitality like yours is so rare to find these days. You honestly made our afternoon!

Came to Mitolo for my friends 30th on Sunday 12th Feb.
Lara was looking after us and was amazing! She went above and beyond with making sure we were comfy and looking after any dietary requirements. Thank you Lara for making our experience so wonderful ️

Wedding Vendor Experience - Incredible staff that are always willing to help. This was one of the best vendor meals I have ever received. Where do I even start… our booking was at 1: 30, and we received a call at 1: 10 telling us they we were running 30 minutes late. This was the first red flag of what was to come… after 2 HOURS we were finally seated (after the booking before us was late and went over time? Why didn’t they tell them to leave if they had other bookings?) We were then waiting for another 30 minutes to get table water (!) and our drinks order. Food also took 45 mins after we had sat down, with the first course being olive oil drenched tomatoes and anchovies, with a couple pieces of bread with anchovy bones on the bread. It was 3: 30 when we got a few pizzas, which while tasted quite nice, did not make up for the appalling experience we had. After pizza, we were still hungry and waited for pasta. The pasta we received 30 minutes later was spaghetti in olive oil with parsley, which was plain and bland. Multiple of my friends found hairs in their food which is absolutely putrid. Overall, I would never recommend someone to attend this venue, and while we got a complimentary gelato to compensate, the experience we had - from the service to the food itself was absolutely awful. DO NOT GO HERE.

Great experience for a long lunch. The food was all amazing. Did a wine tasting before lunch as well which had a great amount of tastings with a decent size pour. The venue was really nice and staff were all friendly and helpful. Only negative feedback would be that it is a lot of options to choose from when booking and kind of confusing. Overall worth a visit

I was really looking forward to heading to Mitolo for lunch as I’ve heard so many amazing reviews.

I must say the venue, wine and customer service was wonderful.

However I was extremely disappointed with the degustation. The food was average at best. The cheese was basic, the pasta was flavourless and the pork belly had more fat on it than actual meat. When you’re paying $90 ahead you expect better quality.

From when we sat down to leaving was 3 hours and that was simply to serve 4 tiny serves which I found pointless.

Such a shame really.

Great food and venue. Unfortunately overshadowed by petty and rude bar staff! Who seemed to go out of their way to criticise or ignore guests. Simply asking for an ice bucket for a bottle of white wine was met with nothing but attitude and threats of being cut off

The most delicious meal! The set menu was great value, hugely tasty and the wine and service also excellent. The restaurant itself had a great vibe with plenty of action but not overbearing. Would highly recommend for any size group. Loved it!

I didn't like it. Had the feed me. It was fairly simple small serve stuff.dessert was ordinary. Looks like a factory food outlet can see everyone else getting it too. Pasta is rediculously small serve, for me anyway.
They said coffee was complimentary but then charged me.
I also had a voucher for 200. But they also charged me 50 for the reservation. So I asked if they could refund the remaining amount unused.of about 30$. The restaurant manager basically said no and next please. And gave me some bottle. Made it a very ordinary experience.
I was disappointed I had to spend my voucher 200$ and Aanother 50 for the reservation.
I won't be back.

I am honestly BLOWN AWAY. An absolute MUST VISIT for mclaren vale…. 10/10 wine, food, service and vibes. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience second to none. Obsessed- thankyou Mitolo ️

A superb, different atmosphere with experimenting food menu and excellent wine. A must to visit.
