Miss Viet Kitchen reviews
36So different from a previous visit. Service extremely slow, first course great but after that was very disappointed, the food choice for the platters we had was not very Vietnamese and all just tasted the same Smokey flavour. Not at all impressed
Overrated, got a King Pho for $40 which came in a small bowl tasteless. Very expensive, not worth it at all. Big mistake will never return.
Last Saturday we received the most expensive, yet inedible pho I've had anywhere in the world! The raw beef was sliced thinly as it should be - but was so chewy that it was inedible - I had to give all of it to our dog. They should test their own food. Absolutely terrible. Will never order or visit them again.
Miss Viet is our 'go to' restaurant. The vibe, the food, and the service is casually comfortable. The wine list is impressive for a small restaurant, and the vegan options are equally superb.
Atmosphere - very well design and I love the bar made of bamboo like you're in Bali
Service - staff are friendly, polite and good customer service
Food - we ordered the Meat tray for sharing. Plus 2 spring rolls and prawn dumplings included. All I can say -Yyummm.yyummm.yyummm
Definitely will come back!
I don't usually give 5 stars but today i have to. Did a banquet, too much food, got enough left over for another 2 days, everything was tender as, loved everything, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, thank you, will be back
That food was the best Vietnamese food I've ever had and I've been to most of the Vietnamese restaurants in Adelaide, tenk u ill come again
I ordered the combination vermicelli noodle bowl via uber eats. It was definitely edible, however seriously lacking in flavour. The sauce provided was no where near enough for the portion size so was quite bland. It did not come with chilli (stated it would) & no fresh herbs. Overall it left me disappointed & needing flavour. Quick service & the food it contained was fresh & hot.
The whole experience was amazing!
The food was just like being in Vietnam and the service was lovely.
Will definitely be back!
The vietnamese food here is fantastic! Highly recommend giving this place a shot! The food is priced well and there is a good variety of options. The vibe here is also really nice and great for a sneaky vietnamese lunch. Friendly staff. The noodle bowls, BBQ quail and rice dishes are very nice. Would go again, 8 outta 10. One of the nicer vietnamese places around
There's a reason this place is highly rated so come give it a try! Reasonable price but excellent food. Had the pork belly noodles as well as rice dish absolutely no complaints. Could do with better lighting inside though as it was a bit dark
Visited Port Adelaide for some yiros but they were sold out, so picked the first open restaurant we saw.
The food was delicious and had generous servings but noticed that the non chicken/pork dishes were overpriced.
The menu was also very limited, we wanted to order fried rice for the little kids in our group but were told they don't make those, but saw another table with fried rice.
I'd probably visit again only for the chicken and pork rice bowls as they were tasty.
Returned again for a simple Friday evening dinner, have enjoyed many meals here before. But tonight was disappointing, the menu remains unchanged (which is ok) but the wine list is getting smaller ‘because the owner decided’, no longer a choice of wines but a limited number and a bit overpriced.
Our meals tonight were too salty and my vermicelli bowl was quite mushy.
I guess it has become more about business and less about passion.
Meh, better off going to American Low&Slow just down the street.
Food at Miss Vet kitchen was overpriced and you REALLY need to fire the waiter he's very rude, seems like he just didn't want to be there. Lots of other customers on here left bad reviews about him.
We have eaten at this restaurant a number of times and had a delightful experience every time! The service is prompt and efficient without being pushy and the food is delicious and all tastes freshly prepared.
Used to be one of our go to restaurants until they decided to take off the swinging bowls banquet. Very disappointing and loss of business.
Fantastic meal, meat was cooked to perfection
Great atmosphere and service with a smile
Food score 9.5/10. Acoustic score 6/10. Fabulous food our party of 10 loved everything we ordered and I will definitely be coming back. The service very good and priced fairly. The sound in here was barely workable for me as I struggled to hear others at our table. Perhaps some floor coverings or acoustic dampening would work a treat in this place.
Quaint little restaurant. Always busy so book to avoid disappointment. Food is amazing! Share platters provide plenty of food and choice, I could eat there every night and still want more! BYO but they have a good wine list so please yourself. Take away available. Be careful of step to toilets.
Found this little gem over Easter long weekend. It's a beautiful little spot, the service was great, friendly staff, the food was delicious. I have been searching for a good vegan pho and was over the moon to not only find it here but also vegan San choy bow. My partner enjoyed his pork chop and the serving sizes were very generous and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning
