Miss Banh Mi Brighton reviews
38Absolutely fantastic food! The Sesame Beef Banh Mi and Lemongrass Chicken were great. The bread was fresh with a great crunch but fluffy inner. We will definitely come and try more of the menu.
Went to Miss Bahn Mi with friends for lunch.
The place is very small so if you want to sit down and eat you may be waiting. I recommend getting take away.
During the busy times you may be waiting up to 20 mins (sometimes more but was around 20 for us).
I had the vegan bahn mi with the salt & pepper tofu.
This was absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients. The salt & pepper tofu was definitely the highly.
I would recommend the bahn mi I had.
Food is amazing but be prepared to line up, it's very popular. Order ahead of time if you're in a rush.
Miss Bahn Mi is by far the very best Vietnamese take away in Adelaide. Their Banh Mi’s are like no other, but my personal favourite is the Crispy roast pork fried rice bowl & the salt and pepper mushrooms! I order at least once a week. Absolutely delicious food which is always so consistent with its quality and such friendly service at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended! 10/10. The best!
Up there with the best Viet in Adelaide and our go to takeaway store in general. Really generous portions, full of freshness and the higher cost is not noticeable because it definitely makes up for it with size, quality ingredients and generous meat portions. The ingredients are definitely on the side of what Australians are familiar with in comparison to the food I experienced in Vietnam. But that's not a bad thing, owner's are still Vietnamese and we were missing the quality ingredients of Miss Bahn by the end of the trip. Absolutely delicious, we order here weekly and the place is always packed!
I love wagging maths and getting a yummy banh mi, miss banh mi is actually heaven i’ve never had something taste so amazing in my life i would spend my entire bank account for that shop
The meal I had combination bowl was nice & plenty of meat. There is tastier though, (in Warradale at the IGA shopping centre on Brighton Rd) can't remember the name of it though, minty yummy.:
Felt in the way when I asked a question. Feelings are; a tad just like the other Vietnamese fooderies around the area. Therefore lacking that personal customer feeling, which is fine different strokes etc;
I just prefer relatibility.
Would I go back, if nothing else was open definitely otherwise probably not, did not feel welcome!
Far away from original, chilli itself doesn't make it Vietnamese food.
It's really Australian version of banh mi.
Wouldn't be surprised if operators are chinese. Not that fresh ether. By the way got sick stomach and diarrhoea so be careful people. Not good at all.
The Salt & Pepper Mushroom was the best Bahn Mi of my life (and I have tried many). Very generous size roll. Can't wait to get back for another.
Outstanding bahn mi. Salt & pepper tofu in vego one was freshly fried. Combination ones were also acclaimed by my companions as best ever! Worth going out of your way for.
Ooh my goodness. Seriously the best tofu I've ever eaten! Delicious food. Beautiful and friendly service.
Great bowls and rolls.
The roast pork and lemongrass chicken are also amazing.
Best banh mi I have had. Both lemongrass chicken and pork belly are fantastic. Highly recommended.
I just had their Salt and Pepper Mushroom Banh Mi. It was amazing. The most delicious and enjoyable Bahn Mi I have ever had (and I have had quite a few)
Can not recommend this place enough. Make sure you stop by and give them a try!
Absolutely love their bun bowls! Gets busy during lunch hour with lines outside the store- best to get in early!
I asked for extra coriander and was charged 50 cents, which is fine, but I'd like to know the price before I pay. Although, I was given much less coriander than usual. And there is an undisclosed surcharge of 1.6%, which is unethical at best. In the end, the bread was soggy and the meat was burnt.
Delicious roast pork, generous serving, fresh salad, fast service, good price. What more can you ask for?
I, like many people in Adelaide, love Banh Mi (Vietnamese Meat Rolls) and I, also like many like to know where the best ones can be obtained. I am often on the go and at lunch time can find myself in locations all over the Metro area so I mark up my maps with the "go to " places
This one is high on my list. They also offer far more than just Banh Mi but if you are after Bahn Mi then make sure you try here.
I found the price is just a little higher than others but just a dollar or 2 but for that you will get a very generous serve where you will have no reason to supplement with a side order (like a spring roll for example)
Service is also excellent - There are a few places in the area selling Bahn Mi but this one is my first choice
UPDATE disappointed today after waiting in a long line for close to 15 minutes to be told that they had run out of chicken for the combo roll and left without a purchase (call me fussy but if I can't get what I waited this long for then why settle for left overs)
I'm on the hunt for the best Banh Mi SA has to offer. So here is the go with Miss Banh Mi!
Banh Mi 4/5 - ordered the Pork roll with pork crackle! The filling was on point with all the correct vegetables, liver Pate and Vietnamese butter. The quantity was larger than normal! However, the baguette didn't have that fresh crunch when you bite into it. Over all, very VERY tasty and would definitely recommend!
Vietnamese Ice Coffee = 5/5
Dim Sims = 5/5 - definitely home made as they claim and freshly made.
By far and away the best Vietnamese food I have had in Adelaide, so consistently good, we have a ritual 'Miss Banh Mi' day at work every week!)
Best Vietnamese food in Adelaide, far better then the Vietnamese restaurant at Hallett Cove Shopping Centre ️
