Ming's Court Chinese Restaurant reviews
63Placed an ordered over the phone for a takeaway meal tonight. Drove 20km round trip to realise they had given me the wrong meal. Called them to be told aggressively by a male "what do you want us to do about it? " I was offered 10% off my next meal if I kept it or return the meal to received the correct meal. So I had to do a return journey. They would not give me the new meal until I returned the incorrect meal. No apology for their mistake. No good will gesture. Terrible customer service. I will not be back.
Ordered takeaway. Chicken satay entree dry, tough, and chewy with small amount of watery sauce. Lemon chicken dry tough also. S and S pork ok.
Very good table service, great tasting food very well prepared with a good range available. The price was right too.
Just like Chinese restaurants used to be. A bit of old style luxury.
Service is good and friendly.
The food comes in large serves and is great value for money.
A good selection of refreshments or BYO with a corkage charge.
Mainly get take away
Food is always nice to eat
Does get busy so I advise to place orders by fone or online
We had a lovely dinner with our family ordering mains to create our own banquet. Food was excellent, sizzling and full of flavour. It was a busy evening and at times very noisy but overall not too bad.
Best restaurant ever love it so much always satisfies me and i enjoy the food always so worth it for the price and the amount of food and the quality that u get, highly reccomend Ming’s Court
My husband and myself are regular customers at Mings Court, we are never disappointed. Best Chinese food down south with great service and amazing staff. You are always looked after at this restaurant.
A favourite place to go but it was a shame that we had to wave our arms to order our meal and that we had to ask for dinner plates to eat off, one dish came with no way of serving the food off it and the one set of tongs that came with one dish was totally broken and shouldn't have been in service.
Alright, I bought 3 dishes sweet and sour dish is absolutely just sour and meat was just 25%. Same with other sizzling pork dish. I bought another $22 dish with seafood, found 2 prawns and 3 squid pieces and rest were carrots and vegetables. Totally not worth the money.
Mings Court has been around since 1979 it opened 2 years after my mother moved into her house and she says the food has always been amazing. We'd always have Mings Court for any special occasion that needed celebration because you can always count on them to present amazing food at affordable prices that stays consistent throughout the years. I've grown up with Mings Court and no other Chinese restaurant compares and if I could give more stars I would!
Tried to order take away, finally got through and no one answered, just left listening to background noise, obviously decided too busy to answer phone but left it off the hook as tried numerous times to engaged signal. Very disappointed and ended up
Ordering from another restaurant.
Good Chinese takeaway, always looks very inviting to dine in. Dishes are hot and usually a good variety of meat, vegetables and sauce depending what we order. Haven't had anything that we haven't liked. If you spend over an amount they throw in a bag of prawn crackers usually too.
Great local Chinese restaurant with the best tasting Chinese food we've ever had their sesame prawn toast, satay chicken, honey chicken and beef with vegetables are divine the restaurant and takeaway areas are always very busy.
Friendly staff and great service
The food is delicious to the taste buds.
Large selection of food's to choose from.
To finish of with strawberry fried icecream.
Very dissapointed have been a loyal customer for a very long time then on my last visit i discovered a short black hair in my fried rice put me off the whole lot went in the bin, thought must be a one off surely nope happened again the other night whole lot in the bin again waste of $80 wont be back cant stand that
This has become my new regular Chinese restaurant. The food is really good. The service is excellent!
Last 3 times I've had it, I've gotten *violent* food poisoning.
Each time the rice has tasted like it's 3-4 days old.
Avoid.
Best Chinese in the South. Have always enjoyed every meal. Definitely a place to try if your looking for a good feed. Don't know what the previous bad reviews are on about.
Used to eat their food once a week nearly 20 years ago.always amazing!
After moving nearby I was excited to order through them again! So I bought the special fried rice, honey chicken and Szechwan pork the other day; there was nothing special about the special fried rice at all. Extremely bland even with all the added bits to the rice. The honey chicken was pretty good hence the added star (otherwise it would've been 1 star review), due to the Szechwan pork also being just tiny bits of pork, surrounded by disgusting soggy batter, like it'd been heated up in a microwave.horrible texture and very little pork inside.
Not a patch on what they used to be, and I can't belive so many recent good reviews. I had the totally opposite experience. Over all, for the money paid it was just not worth it and a total let down.
