Ming Inn Chinese Restaurant reviews
29This is the first time I came to a place where the menu was only in English. The dining guests were all foreigners except us. The waiters were either foreigners or could only understand a little bit but could not speak Chinese. The order of serving was purely Western. The waiter asked us whether we should use chopsticks or knives and forks. Restaurant. The taste is acceptable, but the taste is more Western-style.
Very attentive and friendly staff, the food tasted amazing. Quick service. Highly recommend
Ordered short soup, stir fry veggies, and salt & pepper squid. All done exactly on time for pick up. The squid is crispy and fresh and the soup so good.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Recommended for chinese food lovers! Beautiful customer service, quick and friendly!
Meh.steamed dim sims lacking either ground pork or chicken.found lots of breadcrumbs.fried rice.mediocre.stir fried veges.swimming in liquid.very watery.sizzling Mongolian lamb.hmm what can I say.just spicy and overloaded with sauce.considering it took less than 10 mins to cook all of this I suspect the noises i heard coming from the kitchen were made to cover the sound of the microwave.
Good things come to those who wait.
We were warned about a long wait time for food. We sat down and got our order taken promptly followed by drinks.
Once the food came out the wait was worth it. The satay chicken was spicy but flavoursome, beef and black bean was textbook, honey chicken was delicious. The fried rice was more browned than we are typically used to but every bit as tasty.
Definitely a great place for good Chinese food.
Staffs were attentive and accommodating. The foods, I was afraid with Chinese food where they tend to be spicy and has strong taste but this place has served us such a delicious meals. My friend and I loved it. The only issue is the restaurant is running under staff where you guys have a perfect location and people flooded the restaurant while you serve takeaway as well. I found it’s too much to handle for the staff. Foods came a bit delay too. Other than that, we are happy and will come back again!
We went here for lunch today, very quick service and the food tasted great. Very happy, probably the best Chinese food we have had on our lap of Australia. Cheers.
Yummy food and staff was friendly enough. Service was quick. Specialy in Port Lit Easter long weekend most restaurants were closed and they were quick with the service but still maintained good Chinese food.
Fantastic food, very delicious. Great staff who are very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend and would come back again.
Food was great, the fried rice wasn’t the usual greasy affair, prawn crackers were perfect and the black bean beef was really tasty. Price was very good too and I would definitely go back
Food at this place is amazing.staff at front should smile once in a while didn't feel very welcoming to be honest
Typical, ‘suburban’ Chinese. Got the 22 buck banquet. Hilarious amount of food. And all really, really good.
Nicest meal we had in Port Lincoln - can recommend.
The food and staff are excellent we will be going for dinner there every time we go to Port Lincoln
Always fantastic service at the Ming Inn! Great food and atmosphere, really a first choice place to go for Chinese food.
Here you can find the most traditional Chinese cuisine. The food is amazing and resecue my stomch from the very fresh seafood.
I didn't think it was possible to make something as generic as honey chicken so damn good. Highly recommend.
Sadly not a good meal!
The chicken chow mien (pictured) was like nothing we’d ever seen before - crispy noodles and gelatinous chicken which we couldn’t eat. Told the waitress that this dish in particular wasn’t good and she didn’t offer any sort of reaction. Other dishes tasted strange, like the deep fried chilli beef which tasted like sweet and sour.all in all, a very confusing meal.
Ps also included is a picture of the jug of Diet Coke we got, which was probably the best part of the meal unfortunately.
We waited a very long time for our meals which didn’t taste good either. There wasn’t much flavour. The spring rolls tasted exactly like the homebrand ones. We asked for water multiple times. It seemed that those people who came in after us and were ordering alcoholic beverages were being served promptly. Wouldn’t eat here again. Not a good atmosphere.
Great food and service.recommend to all.prices excellent.clean.very friendly.spread the word.don't miss out.
