This was by far the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff were so rude and had absolutely zero customer service skills and also there was a language barrier that did not help. The room was old dirty and you could not turn the tap on in the bathroom because the mirror blocked the faucet. You had to brush your teeth in the kitchen sink. The bathroom drain was blocked so the entire bathroom flooded and was a slip hazard. The staff were rude when we asked to move rooms because there was no functioning tap in the bathroom. There was a noisy pub across the road and we had people throwing alcohol cans outside our window which was scary. We booked through a third party website to get points and Miller apartments CANCELLED OUR BOOKING but never reinstated it so the points were lost with absolutely no apology. The room and rate that I booked through the third party for the price WAS NOT THE ROOM I GOT ON ARRIVAL. My room I booked was cancelled and Miller apartments put me in a worse downgraded room with no apology or explanation BUT TOOK PAYMENT FOR THE ROOM BOOKED THROUGH THE THIRD PARTY. This doesn’t seem legitimate nor ethical and certainly not best practice when it comes to guests bookings and transparency.

I would never recommend this accommodation by far the rudest and most unskilled guest service team I have ever had interaction with.

Our very first trip to Adelaide and my husband had planned a lovely short getaway. He booked a room at the Millers apartment and the service from the staff was absolutely amazing.

They had messaged us a few days before in preparation for our arrival and asked us for any requests we had. My husband replied requesting a high floor and early check-in. Understandably these things can't be confirmed until arrival however we got to the room at 1pm and the lovely Tanisha greeted us and advised our room was ready and that our room had been UPGRADED to one of their suites on the top floor as my husband let them know we were celebrating my birthday there. I was so appreciative of the kind gesture!

When we got to our room, it was perfect. And to my surprise a complimentary bottle of wine and beautiful chocolates with a sweet happy birthday message was left on the kitchen table. Sooo thoughtful! The apartment was spacious for the 2 of us. The fluffy robes and slippers were a beautiful touch too and I was very excited there was decent coffee and tea in the room too. None of this Nescafe stuff that we usually find.

Thank you sooo much Tanisha and Millers Apartment for an enjoyable stay!

Stayed for 3 nights Friday to Monday room 509
One of the worst value for money hotels we ever stayed in. $1065 + $90 for parking for 3 nights.
The room with a balcony was an absolute joke.the balcony is a fully enclosed concrete box with no view but advertised (city views) …. Clear case of false advertising…
We booked a 1 bedroom luxury apartment so to be able to separate the sitting area from the bedroom…. The dividing wall between the two only goes 3/4 of the way so as all the light and noise goes straight into the bedroom…. As for cooking facilities 2 hot plates and a microwave……after reading the conditions of use you are not game to use them.
Too bad if you want your room serviced on a Sunday (not available)
The bottle of wine just placed in the fridge…the ice bucket not used and no ice made in the fridge.
Absolutely no amenities provided at this place apart from tea and coffee with UHT milk…
If you are thinking of staying here advice is DONT…look elsewhere and don’t believe the
advertising either by Miller apartments or Luxury Escapes…. Absolute ripoff.
Response from owner totally B. S.didn’t address any issues raised and has not contacted me…. Apology is meaningless and not accepted.

This is not a (Deluxe) one bedroom apartment. There is at least a 1m gap in the wall to the living area, allowing noise & light to travel through. Would have expected at least a full enclosed bedroom for the prices paid.

Wish I read the previous reviews from similar parents travelling with kids before booking or if even better if they updated the rooms descriptions!

Best location. Walking distance to everything. Rooms are clean, bright, big & spacious with ample amenities for our family of 5.
The ambience of the apartments were calm & inviting. The staff from front desk to housekeeping are wonderful! Full of happy smiles. Thank you for your hospitality.

The room was nice apart from dirty finger marks around the light switch and rubbish under the bed.
They took an extra $200 out of our bank as a deposit and said we get it back when we check out. However that was four days ago and I still don’t have the money back in my account. The lady on the desk said they didn’t actually take the money it’s just pending…. Nope. It’s a debit and it hasn’t been refunded. Now I’m told 2-5 business days…. Loads of our friends stayed in Adelaide the same night and none of their hotels charge this extra amount. Won’t be going back.

The on-site carpark is ridiculously tight. We were travelling with a baby and the one bedroom executive suite bedroom has a wall that doesn't meet the ceiling. There is a 1m airgap. This allows noise and light from the living space into the bedroom where our baby was sleeping. This design isn't clear in the pics. The supplied cot is a portacot that's hard as a rock, we couldn't put the baby down gently due to the height of the sides. Ended up having to co-sleep and returned the portacot. There is a lot of noise from the hallway coming into the room.

The bathroom is tiny, with nowhere to put anything down and barely enough space to dry two towels. The shower has one of those water saving heads on it, a shelf that angles so soap and bottles slide off, and a creaky base that makes noise as you're showering. Some of the hand towels looked to have dirty stains.

The bedroom is quite cramped and you have to turn sideways to get down the side of the bed. One of the supplied sheets had what looked like a blood stain on it.

On the second day room service didn't empty the rubbish, so I called reception and asked for it to be emptied. Nobody came, and it was emptied the following day.

My review is harsh because this hotel is presenting itself as something it isn't. It is not 4 star accommodation. Many of my criticisms would be acceptable in a 3 star motel. This hotel is suitable for singles or business travellers staying a few days and want somewhere central. After a week with 2 adults and a baby I looked forward to check out.

The apartment had 3 queen bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen comfy lounge and balcony.
The beds were so comfortable we couldn’t wait to get home at night! The car parking was easy and just a lift up to apartments. The staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and Ian the night duty guy was brilliant.
The location was just perfect, pubs and nightlife a short walk, shopping also a short walk and plenty of eating places. It was even just a short walk to the tram stop.
Best stay ever, thank you Miller apartments.

Good location and decent facilities however each “room” isn’t fully enclosed to allow the aircon to flow through / ventilation and this was not obvious at all in photos, nor something that I ever considered to question.
As this was our first trip with a baby, this was highly disappointing to us as the main criteria for our accom was having a separate bedroom so my partner and I could go about our business once the baby was asleep. Instead, we had to act like burglars in our own place.
In addition, carpet was so thick that the bedroom door would scrape against it each time it was opened/closed which brought about even more noise.
Understandably, our situation is unique to us and whilst they are ready to accommodate families (portacot, bathtub and high chair available), I would not recommend the apartments to those travelling with babies/toddlers due to the room designs.

Magnificent apartments. Knocked our socks off when we opened the door and saw the amount of space. We had the 2 bedroom apartment. You could seriously live here. Friendly and helpful check in and room staff. Close to all restaurants and bars as the location is right in the heart of the city. Parking garage could be tricky to find so maybe ring when you are close and they'll guide you. All in all, a magnificent apartment and definitely will be staying here again when next in Adelaide.

It’s street noisy, and can’t shut the balcony windows to reduce noise, the walls are so thin you hear everything between them. There is a glass window at the top of all bedroom walls which lets all the light in so can’t sleep in. Not renovated from 40 years ago, so very tired and dated. We had noise from leaking shower pipes above, onto our ceiling. Don’t recommend to stay here.

I really like their stance on vaccination requirements, so thanks to the other reviewers who didn’t like that, because I shouldn’t have to suffer due to ignorance. Room was clean and comfortable, however quite noisy even 4 stories up.

It was located at a good location and service is good. However, good to have a gym and pool in house. Car park is not easily accessible for a 7-8 seater. Handheld showers would be fantastic as well as central air condition (so don’t have to keep the doors open to get heat from one).

Clean and big rooms, if you like a place that is older style and night clubs close by this is your place.

Such a great hotel!
We actually cross checked our booking when we arrived to make sure we had the room we booked as it seemed better than we remembered booking the loft is super trendy and spacious, comfy bed.
Was nervous on arrival, it's so close to clubs etc but it was super quiet (was mid week however) would stay again, 10/10

I feel the need to highlight how extremely disappointed I was with the service and outright discrimination we received from the Miller Apartments. We arrived to check in as we had a function booked at another venue for our daughters 21st, so we were holding cupcakes and a lot of luggage and needed to get to the venue and set up. We were left out on the street unable to check in due to not having a covid vaccination, the fact that this is even able to occur is disgusting enough but the special conditions did not clarify this. They simply said as stated below copied straight from the special conditions.

Guests need to meet one or more requirements to stay in this property: proof of full Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccination, a recent valid negative Coronavirus PCR test, or recent proof of Coronavirus recovery.

However they would only accept proof of vaccination not a negative test. So as you can imagine how inconvenient it was for us on a busy Saturday afternoon with a large function close to starting when everything within a reasonable price range due to fringe and events were booked out just to have our accommodation cancelled.

Awesome stay here.
The room we had was at the back Room 107 - it was great because we didn't hear much noise from the main road.
Great place to stay. Close to everything

I booked a 10 night stay for work in the 1 bedroom executive apartment. The photos on the internet looked good, clean, tidy and spacious with a balcony. Advertising with a fully equipped kitchen. First issue was the carpark had a small suv and trying to get in and out and park was a nightmare, small carparks and access do not recommend especially for $25 a day. Next get to my room and find it's small, balcony has 4 concrete walls and backs onto the alleyway behind. The kitchen has 2 small hotplates and a microwave only. How is that a fully equipped kitchen? No oven a fridge that looks like it was used as a boxing bag. Tiny bedroom and bathroom. The guy on reception had no personality, was not friendly at all.

It was that bad I cancelled my accommodation there and then without even staying the night and stayed else where.

Do not recommend staying here at all.
