Milang Lakeside Caravan Park reviews
56 What a place, beautiful location, superb hosts, great country pub that serves huge meals for very good prices I give this park 10/10!
Thanks betty!
Awesome spot and the kindest staff. Cheers betty and the team! We've stared here for a while working in the area and are very glad we did:)
Dirty, unkept and many derelict permanents. Walked thru before booking and left. Could be amazing but overgrown sites and general poor upkeep are a put off
Needs a massive change and revive.
Permanents need to be maintained to a standard or evicted as they are bringing the park down.
Close to water front all though was windy and could not use the lake, Betty was very lovely and knew a lot about the area, cheap cost for non powered site $22
Would highly recommend this caravan park to anyone, lovely friendly staff, clean amenities, well-maintained lawns, great camp kitchen
Thank you for being so accommodating to such a large group of people
Phenomenal place, South Australians hidden gem. Great place to fish, my friend and caught 36 fish, vast majority were carp, we also caught 7 red fin and 3 calllops. The people who manage the caravan park are Phenomenal. Great place to stay. The bakery is outstanding
Huge thank you for hosting our group camping event on the weekend.very reasonable prices for powered & unpowered sites.friendly staff.
The park is clean and tidy with great grassed areas.clean amenities, the fire pits were definitely a bonus.
We had a great weekend away and highly recommend this park.
Great amenities block with hot showers. BUT! The mosquito's! They weren't mosquitoes, they were flying dragons. We moved to non-powered site at far end of park where the mosquito problem was minimal. End in the we had an enjoyable stay but bring the Aerogard.
Clean, cheap and cheerful. Doesn't have heaps of facilities but a lovely spot and our site had great lawn and shade.
Spent 3 nights in a powered site. Its an inexpensive park in a great location right next to the lake. Very green and lots of trees. Office staff were very welcoming and friendly on arrival. I even got a ride in the "golf buggy" to view the park. I had a very pleasant stay.will be back.
Zero star rating drove in and out did not ask for money back filthy dirty and nothing more than a derelict hobo park not fit for your average traveller shame on council for this disgusting park
Friendly staff, clean camp kitchen. Stayed in cabin; good value for $ but cleanliness not to a high standard. We hired linen, which smelled musty.
If I could add a half I would make it 4.5. Owners are fantastic and really friendly and helpful. We stayed on a non powered site on the foreshore side. Site is flat and easy to pitch a tent. Showers and toilets are kept clean. There’s a request to mop up after a shower and to be honest it’s not a hard thing to do. If you’re on the foreshore side there is also a clean public toilet if you need a quick night run. You can get the use of a fire pit and buy some wood on site which is great if you pack light but still want to enjoy a night by the fire. The place is pet friendly with the normal rules of a leash and minimal barking. There were only two small downs sides. The shared BBQ takes a really long time to heat up and by the time your food starts cooking you have to add another $1. I don’t mind the time you get as long as there is good heat. Second was noise from neighbours right up to midnight. The loud talking and music was frustrating. A great stay in all though and hope to return soon
Friendly, helpful and a pleasant stay. It's an older park but everything is clean. The town is interesting and with the park across the road along the lake, it is a peaceful and relaxing stay.
I'll be going back.
A wonderful park to stay i stay there a lot dogs are welcome on leads its great park owners are wonderful and very helpful to visitors
Great spot for a Caravan Park, helpful pleasant staff. The amenities are clean but are starting to look their age
Nice setting and lovely staff, unfortunately the cabin we hired appeared to had not been used in ages and needed a good airing and a deep clean.we got a refund and moved on. The office wreaked of cigarettes which was got a good first impression.
Grounds were well kept and Shower blocks appear very clean but lots of old long term resident caravans on the ground making the place look run down.
Great little park to relax in. Not overly flash, but clean & tidy with a great outlook. Local shops are basic but adequate. Strathalbyn is only 10 minutes away.
Setting lovely. Managers friendly and very helpful but office reeked of cigarette smoke. Basic cabin was all we needed. Bed/linen etc very good but rest run down, chipped, broken and ledges not wiped for ages (eg scum on top of a/c) As l checked under bunk beds found bottle top and dirt.not swept for a while. Highlight was the Friday night fish and chip van. Excellent.
Lovely location although lots of the long term vans run down, the grounds were lovely and green. What really spoilt our stay were 2 large white dogs wandering around freely. Owner a long term resident didn't care and did not pick up after them.
Lots of noise the nights we were there smashed bottles, cars revving and shouting at all hours of the night. Great fish and chip van on Friday tho.
