Very friendly greeting and girls were definitely dog lovers.

Happy with my Maltese Shihtzu quoted over phone prior and paid $85 for her grooming.

But not so happy with my border collie wash, blow dry and nail clip. Was quoted $50 on phone prior, for a 6 month old dog, charged $85 plus a surcharge overall totalling $177.45 for both dogs.

When I queried the charges as to familiarise myself with the charges per dog. I was told that a fully grown border collie was usually charged at $110. Ok I thought but my dog is a pup, anyway as my dog had slight matting it was $85. Well that seemed exorbitant to me when there is no real clipping involved.

My main gripe however, is that if you are paying $85 for such a service, surely you don’t clip the animals nails and leave them like razor sharp talons to be sent home to rip through flesh upon pick up. For that cost wouldn’t you check for any sharp rough edges and file accordingly?

Look it’s not the groomers fault my dog jumped up on me as she was pleased to see me on pick up and ripped through the flesh on my hand.

But surely some responsibility has to be taken as to the quality and attention to detail of the service you are providing.

Overall not upfront with service costs and overpriced for quality received.

Very happy with the service given to my two border collies this week! The girls were lovely, listened to exactly what I was after and my dogs came home beautifully clean and happy. They also lined up for a brush at home tonight so I know they were treated well while at the salon.

My beautiful dog always comes home looking and smelling magnificent after being groomed here. I only trust Metro Mutt with my beautiful boy

We found our new groomer in town! Amanda was very accommodating with how I wanted my girl to look, we took our little girl to another groomer near by and was treated poorly so it was so nice to go somewhere where they were nice, and didn’t make me feel bad that my girl was a bit knotted. We will be back

They done a fantastic job on my dog Bear, will definitely taking him there when he needs doing next time

Staff were delightful. My 14 yr looked superb on pickup and most importantly relaxed. Very happy with the end result.

Awesome place this is. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Wouldn't go anywhere else to get our dogs haircut.

Amanda and her team are wonderful people who go above and beyond. They are great at what they do.

The owners are fabulous, listen to us and offer great advice for our adventures of owning first dog that needs clipping. Its a whole other thing

They are so professional. Very good with dogs. I have a medium size dog and she will sit for 2 hours being groomed with no winges. Definitely recommend them in the Port Adelaide vicinity.

Great salon, they do a great job with my large dog who won't let me trim her nails. They have her done in 10 minutes and she always leaves with a treat.

Go to metro mutts for your dog's grooming if it's long over due thats what's they do and a good job at that

I have a white woolly malamute who needs extra grooming care I cant provide at home. Amanda and her team are amazing - he is a lot of work and can become quite stressed when I do more than an hour of grooming at a time at home (requires 2 to 4 hrs per week), but he is happy arriving and just as happy leaving) Despite moving to an hours drive away, i cannot risk his happiness with any other groomers. And, of course, he is even more beautiful after our visit. Thank you Metro Mutt!

They did a great job on our pup, very friendly and informative staff. Highly recommended. Will be coming back.

Went there for the first time just to try it out because it was in our area, We decided to go there and they did a fantastic job on our standard poodle pup the cut was brilliant exactly like the picture! I definitely recommend it!

I have been taking my 2 dogs to Metro Mutt for over a year now and I can highly recommend this salon. Amanda and Darren present a friendly front to their business but mostly importantly they do an excellent bath & clip job on both my dogs. I like that they ask me how I want them clipped as it changes summer to winter plus both dogs have diversely different coats so require different cuts. Other salons just cut the dogs to suit themselves which I don't like.

I recommended them to a friend who now takes her keshounds to them. This is a great local business and I will continue to use and recommend them to friends. Well done guys I wish you continued success.
