Melbourne Street Laundromat

Previous experiences were brilliant.
Matt, the previous owner was a wonder.

Now, with less washers and smaller dryers and less flexible dryers too.

Last night I discovered they were "Temporarily closed".
No indication of for how long or why.
(Had their HWS spring a leak?
Were their dryers blowing electrical fuses?
Was someone using the place as their own personal toilet?
I have no idea & there was nothing apparently wrong from what I could observe.)

Now I have to find somewhere else and they won't be getting this fortnight's $$ form me.

Clean and easy instructions. Price was very reasonable and they even offer a free service for the homeless or people struggling financially.

Very Clean, and a relaxed atmosphere. This would be the best laundromat I've ever used. Plus you know that your money is going to a good cause.

Great place to wash your clothes, reasonable price machines, very clean and new. Has great free parking at rear, and rear access to laundry.

Went today, was clean and machines worked well. Tons of reading material and flyers. Favourite laundromat in Adelaide, cost effective and reliable

Had a pleasant morning washing and drying my whites.had a warm morning sunshine snooze in the comfortable chairs as each cycle progressed.hope I didn’t snore.

Can't be trusted. The dryer accepted money without working. I was told the credit to be sent to my email but nothing happened.

Be careful with Dryer 5. It is not working as it should be. Had to transfer my un-dry clothes to another slot after waiting 45 minutes and paying $6. I'm a sad boy now.

This place is definitely not worth coming here to dry your clothes. Not hot at all needs upgrading very disgusting. Seriously get your dryers serviced before taking people’s money.

Your welcome. Just a suggestion, please put a change making machine in your shop. I had to drive all the way to a servo to get change.

Too expensive. $5 per load.no coin machine.only good thing about it is that the it has free wi-fi

There is no coin changer at this laundromat so bring like $10+ in $1 coins. All the local shops have been bled dry.

When we were doing our laundry it wasn't well maintained, not free soap available either coffee. Small improvement should be considered.

Owner is a legend! Helpful man, lent us coins to start so our wait time was less whilst my partner went across the road to the pub to get coins. Good vibes and very clean inside. Best laundromat around!

Don't normally write reviews, but.

The owner is a great guy. Despite reading the other reviews before I got here, I forgot to bring coins. So, I got some coins out from the pub across the road but I realised I was $3 short (I had a LOT of laundry).

Matt (the owner) happened to be there and literally just pulled the change out of his pocket and said "don't worry about it mate, it's all good". Most places wouldn't do that unless you were a regular (if at all).

He answered all my questions and was genuinely friendly the entire time he was there.

The whole place has got cool posters and murals and stuff on the walls too. Much better than the laundromat I used to go to.

Definitely coming back if I need to!

Very sketchy area, no coin machine so unfortunately not doing our washing here. Very dirty and not maintained.

Could do upgrades but it’s good and they have free laundry soap there. You can get coins as well in The Lord Melbourne Hotel across the road.
