Meadows Hotel - Sip 'n Save

Stopped in for lunch today, good service, friendly atmosphere and the meal was delicious, Chicken in a Meadow, yum.

My chosen venue for a catch up over lunch with a friend!
I haven't visited the Meadows Hotel for quite a few years and was most impressed. The refurbishment and modernisation and decor are very tasteful. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and we chatted enjoyably with Carissa who was managing the bar. There was an extensive menu, specials board and more than adequate wine list. Our meals were delicious and nicely presented. What more can I say!? I'll be back soon!

Great staff. Great food. Nice spot for family and friends. Adrian and his staff are so welcoming. Pub has a nice feel.

Caught up with friends for Sunday lunch. Was the best beef schnitzel I have ever had! So tender it cut like butter. Very impressed. Not so impressed by the kids having melt downs near the toy machine (weird thing to have in a pub!) but the food made up for it. Definitely will be back.

Well, it’s been my local for 5 years. For some time I’ll avoid it, because pubs in nearby towns are better - food, ambience, service
Had a lapse tonight after some months and went there for a quick meal.
Ordered squid n chips and the specials dessert of sticky date pudding at 6: 25 pm. Main meal came out reasonably promptly after 15 mins (well, it’s just a fry-up and there were less than 20 clients in the dining rooms). Meal eaten by 6: 55, plate taken away by 7.
Sat there thinking - do they remember my dessert? 7: 17, go to the bar and get attention from the staff “I’ll let the kitchen know”.
7: 40, it finally arrived, no apology. Almost enough time to cook it from scratch, but didn’t taste like it.
Ah well, I need a reminder every three months why I don’t want a meal there.

We booked a table, when we got there, it was given to someone else, on the food side, ordered a chicken snitty with florentine topping, avocado missing. Soggy chips.

Great food and service. Unfortunately can't return due to the unnecessary toy machine. It causes kids to have melt downs. It's virtually gambling. Too much stress and spoils the experience. The Pub is great if you don't have kids.

Returned after not being there for a while. I was pleasantly surprised at both the cost and quality of the meals. Very impressed indeed. To the girl (who I believe was new) you did a good job. It takes time to grasp all of the job but you did it all with a smile and good customer service. Well done:) we will be returning

We had a couple of tasty burgers & a drink.

A nice surprise. The dining room is bright, open, and clean. Service is friendly but the menu is limited. What is on offer is good quality pub dishes.

Always a food place for a feed and some frothies. The Mexican schnitzel is very very scrumptious

Basic pub but really nice people and a great menu with good specials.
It’s going to be the place to be when the renovations finally get through council.

Really nice place clean and tidy friendly staff food was good and good service at tea time. Parking is in street but close to pub door.

Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Compliments to the chef on the 5 star food we were served. The meals were a good size and absolutely delicious. Nothing to complain about at all. Pleasant drive to get there and well worth the trip. We will definitely return.

Ordered a share platter which was well cooked and very generous. Couldn't have asked for more. Great service.

No vegan options other then a salad & when they finally got an eggplant schnitzel on the menu they remove it.

The girl behind the bar Saturday week ago knew what she was doing, serving a packed bar on her own and nobody had an empty glass to.be seen. Good old fashioned bar work

Lovely little country pub, Ruined by some uncaring staff members. Not exactly what I would have expected from there.actually a bit frustrated by that behaviour.
