McDonald's Edinburgh North, SA

Was quiet, not many people eating in. Has a nice playground that our grandsons enjoyed. As with all MacDonald's these days low staff levels meant that the dining room was only tolerably clean, bins all over full. The toilets however were disgusting.

Ordered Uber Eats from here and we received someone else’s order and half of their order was missing. The food was also disgusting and it seemed like the chips had been sitting out for hours.

Unfortunately this newly located restaurant at the Western end of Davoren Park is staffed by bairly trained junior staff members that do absolutely nothing for the franchise. Very slow service equalling in sub par quality food. Neither hot, not fresh after you will wait near ten minutes or more in the drive thru and more if you order inside the restaurant. And ordering on-line is no benefit as after receiving payment for products that are not available you will be offered no substitutes not refund.

Lack of acknowledgement at counter when waiting to get order, predominantly using app. But what if I wanted to order at counter.

Shocking service, heard bad reviews from a family member but thought surely this store isn't that bad and must have just been having a bad day. Nope, the service was terrible, the Manager had no clue and showed absolutely no care. Will not be back.

Is this store a franchise or corporate?

Either way surely someone wants this business to be profitable, a good store will smash sales and generate a fantastic return. Or do we just aim for mediocre nowadays? !

If I could rate zero stars I would. Terrible service and rude staff. Tired of waiting over 20 minutes every time I come through for cold food. Won’t be back

Extremely poor customer service.they hung up on you mid conversation. Extremely rude. Poor quality. Do not go to this maccas. The workers need to be fired. Got no idea what they’re doing. Waited 2 hours for food. Got my money back and never going there again

Took almost 30 mins to get a simple meal and it was cold. Did not seem very organised, needs better time management, there were people standing around not doing anything either. Wouldn’t recommend.

Order machine barely worked
Waited ages for a simple cheeseburger happy meal in an empty store
Multiple people came in with things to return while I was waiting

Finally got my meal and they've put a sausage patty on my cheeseburger? It's mid day how the hell did that happen?
Can't swap it for an actual cheeseburger because I can't afford another 15 minutes of my life trying to order

It just doesn't seem like the staff have good teamwork at all. Waiting times are horrendous, it almost seems like dining in a restaurant at this point. Service can also be a bit better, with the many times we've gone through drive thru, I probably have repeated my order dozens of times, no matter how much I say it loud. Hope it can get better, its location is perfect and they have a lot of customers.

Absolutely shockingly slow service.
Food was cold by the time we eventually recieved it. We sat and waited while uber was served, another walk in was served and a bunch of workers came and went. Not happy Jan!

It took over 20 mins to get a table order. The place needed a good clean.
Better luck next time.

The staff here are Incompetent. I have orderd 3 separate times AND WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM THIS SHOP AGAIN.if I could I would give this mcdonalds half a star.

1st order: I paid for two m&m mcflurry's received two oreo mcflurry's.

2nd order: we orderd a family meal so 4 burgers, 4 drinks, 4 chips. Then a 10pk chicken nuggets meal (chips, nuggets, drink). We then received the full 10pk chicken nuggets meal. 4 Burgers and 3 drinks.
Missing in order: all 4 chips, 1 drink. Then one vanilla thickshake we ordered showed up as a chocolate frappe.

3rd order: 4 bacon and egg muffin meals. Med chips. What showed up cold chips, then all 4 burgers missing cheese.hashbrowns way over cooked I like crispy hashbrowns but that was very bad and cold.

Very disappointing as this only opened in July 2023

Feel for the manager and staff there. Just doesn't seem to be a fluid team yet. Unfortunately not fast food, 25 minutes or so. Happy to review another time and will update the rating

Always extremely long waits in drive through even when there are no cars. Staff have no sense of urgency to serve or deliver hot fresh food to the customers. When you open the bag it’s always thrown together like it was “fast food” but was not indeed fast at all. Sick of being served food looked like a dogs breakfast. Staff need training on how to serve customers and deliver upon “fast food”. This is also being passed onto head office as it reflects poorly being a franchise.

Never had an issue with the freshness of my food but the wait times are ridiculous. Waited 12 minutes this morning for a sausage and egg meal.
They need to use the waiting bay more often!

After speaking to Chloe, on the 21st of September 2023 at 10: 30pm. I will be putting a formal complaint to head office! Absolutely disgusting behaviour in communication! Who ever franchised this mc Donald’s you are crazy letting your staff do and talk how they do.

Don’t order from this place! I Ordered from door dash 2 orders and hash browns and 2 McFlurrys didn’t get my McFlurrys my hash browns or one of my orders my Big Mac is UNEATABLE sloppy put together doesn’t even have my middle peice of bun on it? Spent almost $70 and cannot eat any off it don’t recommend

Would give 10 negative stars if I could. Worst McDonald’s I have ever been too long wait times in drive thru over 15 minutes got my food was stone cold also both coffees where stone cold after ordering hotcakes and 15 minute wait told there was no maple syrup. When I made a complaint the manager he did not care. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS MCDONALDS AGAIN!
