McCracken Country Club

Lovely get away. Very friendly staff, great accommodation. We stayed in a Balcony Spa room for 2 nights. The only issue we had was a baby in the room next door that was crying most of the night.

Our view from our room was amazing.
Had dinner first night very disappointing, meal average, no oysters available at 6.30pm, dining area dated needs TLC. Room was ok, needed to ask for coffee etc to replaced, TV very small, our view would have been even better if we could see out of the dirty windows.
Staff were lovely

Very disappointed with the facilities in the complex the swimming pool was not heated and the spa was not working disappointing when going away for the weekend and not being able to use the facilities.

My meal was short on food and banana splits did not have ice cream and artificial cream was used.yuk

What an amazing place to stay, reception staff, restaurant staff, meals, cleaners of rooms, all went above and beyond with service.
Meals were just delicious, had the most beautiful 3 days here, and will definately return. You should all be congratulated you are outstanding. Thankyou again for a wonderful 3 nights stay.

This place has one word: beautiful. The rooms are brilliantly appointed and smart, with very comfortable beds. The staff are wonderful, and they are willing to help out in any way they can. It backs on to a golf course, which is immaculately kept.

Ordered some food here and my mcracken was BLASTING all over the bathroom, sorry whoever had to clean that up, golf was nice, i was furious after missing every hole and i bent my golf stick in half and cried for an hour straight.

Overall, I had a great experience with McCracken Country Club. Great location and beautifull view from rooms. Front desk staff was helpful. Had breakfast from the restaurant that was also great!

Terrific stay loved the rooms personal spa also our daughter and our selfs loved the indoor pool sauna spa and gym the beds are so comfortable highly recommend and John and linda were terrific helpful staff who helped us with problems with dvd and tv this place is gonna be best place ever after 40 million dollar upgrade finished finally discovery parks have bought a hidden gem congratulations to all discovery park workers.

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment for two nights and was fantastic. We a slight problem with the TVs andJohn and Linda went out and beyond there way to fix the problem. Thankyou. The pool and spa was great aswell as the amazing beds. Definitely recommend to stay.

This place might be good if your going there just to play golf, but the whole place really needs to be upgraded.the bar-bistro and rooms are really outdated

Staff were welcoming and the room was a balcony suite with gorgeous views over the golf course. The meals were good, the Cordon Bleu excellent according to partner. Definitely would stay again.

This was the cleanest place we have stayed in. And we’ve stayed in many places. And the view from our room was so relaxing & peaceful! We had a ball & we’ll go back if we can!

Check out time is 10am, 9: 25 cleaner opened the door without asking or Knocking the door, and we were naked

Good location and good rooms. Club house has good food and bottle shop. Relaxing, clean and convenient please to stay.

Plenty of parking upon arrival. You can park outside reception temporarily if needed to move your belongings in. The staff at reception are super helpful and polite! Check in was easy.
The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The views were great, the property is well maintained.
We ordered room service during our stay. The food was really nice and the portion sizes were plentiful.
It's in a good location. There's a Coles just up the road, the beach isn't far and there is a nearby wildlife park if you are looking for something to do:)

Didn't get a chance to play golf but the part of the course I could see looked inviting. The accommodation sadly didn't match. The bed itself was comfortable but the room itself was drab and dreary and reminded me a lot of when I last visited an aged care facility as I reckon the carpet, kitchen area and paintwork were identical. Bathroom was ok but you could see bits of tile grout missing in places. Kettle and fridge worked ok, the tv was quite small. Didn't use the wifi, pool or restaurant so can't comment on those. Overall I'll give it a score of 6/10

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Food was sensational, thoroughly recommend the lamb shanks. My wife and I were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary, and were very well looked after. We will return

I don't consider this villa value for money. Location is great, and pool and bar facilities are good, even if the restraunt is closed now. We also can't fault the cleanliness and freshness of the linen and bathrooms, and the amount of space is good. However, for $315 a night I don't expect to have coffee stained bedside tables, kitchen cupboards with peeling veneer, a leaking sink tap or stains on the carpet. There were also people walking their dogs and kids coming home from school walking right across the front of the lounge window as the property ground is not private. We plan on spending most of our 3 days here with the curtains drawn! The furniture and fittings, other than the beds, are dated and look cheap.
