48PLEASE REFUND OUR WEDDING DEPOSIT since you have suddenly closed. Kindly respond to my email and do the right thing.
We held our engagement party here in November.
Around 80-90 people with food and drink package.
It was really great! Venue is beautiful, customer service was excellent - Max and his team did an amazing job and really looked after us!
Highly recommend!
Tried calling ahead many times without answer.finally just bite the bullet and drove the hour and a half because it says open till 5: 30.
Only told they had a private function on. If you have a phone number up maybe try answering it. Very disappointing
We sat outdoors and ordered from the Bar Menu. The food was quite tasty, and prepared and served promptly. The outdoor seating is very pleasant when the weather is sunny, and the staff were most courteous and friendly.
Been 34y since I attended this picturesque venue.
I don’t know if they were understaffed or not but the wait was long between entree and main. We then sat there for over 30min with empty glasses and mains plate complete. There was no mention of “would you like dessert, drinks or coffee”? That was disappointing. Food was 10/10 though.
Our wedding was the one of our dreams.
The ceremony looked amazing and the reception was beautiful. The entire night ran so smoothly, and on behalf of all our guests as well, the food was absolutely amazing and so was the service. The staff really made the night as it was great to see them enjoying the night as much as us.
So once again we are so grateful and thank you.
See you again soon, as Maxamilian's is really our number one.
From the Mr and Mrs Verity.
Went for dinner on a Saturday night. We found the staff polite and efficient. We both had 3 courses and every dish was enjoyable. Would recommend.
Maximillians is simply awesome.
A spacious venue in tranquil surrounds. Whether you choose to sit inside or outside there are a number of great areas to enjoy.
They hosted our company Christmas lunch today for a group of 14 of us.
The food was amazing.delightful entrees, wonderful mains and amazing desserts.
I opted for the beef main which was perfectly cooked and finished off with a rich butter sauce.
We opted for the hahndorf hill blaufränkisch which paired well.
The chocolate dessert was a great way to finish.but everything is great there including their coffee.
What a treat it was to discover their driving range post meal.great way to wind down and have a few laughs.
This place absolutely gets my highest rating
We had our wedding in Maximillian’s last Saturday. We couldn’t thank more for Max the venue manager and his team enough. From the time we seen the venue and working with Max, he made sure everything was easy and answered all our questions. The night was absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend Maximilian’s and much appreciated for the team effort. The team made our day extra special and we certainly recommend Maximilian’s as a wedding venue.
Everything is ridiculously over priced, costs $28 for a very small steak sandwich with a handful of shoestring fries. Also a dollar per ball when it comes to having a hit of golf, didn’t even bother due to the price.one of the blokes serving at the bar was also quite awkward and rude. He asked my girlfriend if there was anymore food for the order/table.after I jumped in and told him what I wanted, he continued to ignore me and basically said “I’m asking her” before she shut him down herself and clarified we were together.
Definitely would not recommend it, way better things to do for a day out around Adelaide.
Max and the team went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was perfect! The food was phenomenal, the staff were so accommodating and helpful and the venue is just simply stunning! Cannot thank the team enough for making our day perfect!
David and staff where extremely friendly, accurate and offered great service, we recommend booking in advance and buying plenty of golf balls, tee off with wine and have a great laugh.
Regards
George

We had the best Mother’s Day at Maximillians. We were lucky that we had a semi private dining room as there were 8 of us for lunch. The 8 included two fussy eaters and my very foodie parents. Every single course was absolutely delicious. They really didn’t put a foot wrong. We appreciated the fine dining service - every course was delivered by a team of waiters so our plates arrived at the same time. Next year already booked!
Exceptional service and food was amazing. Kids meals come with carrot sticks and celery (seasonal) all very healthy which is great! Very accommodating to my dad with a walker. Our setting was amazing and the whole experience top notch. Book ahead its very busy for a reason!
The perfect evening. Table for 2 on a Sat night. Service was polite, efficient, and pleasant and good natured. But the food was the star. Entrees were superb, the gnudi was chunky and filled with flavour. The duck dumplings the same, bursting with big chunks of very flavourful duck. We had the chateaubriand for mains and this was an exquisite, melt-in-the-mouth cut of beef. The dessert crumble didn't disappoint with strong flavours of various spices. Every dish tasted fresh and of top notch ingredients. The atmosphere overall was classy but fun and relaxed.
Nice place, good atmosphere but Gee some of the staff are the rudest people you'll ever meet wow.
Maximilian’s - a maxi mistake!
Dead flies on the window sill alongside our table, incorrect cutlery layout, an entree that should have been provided with a spoon had none, cracked pepper had to be physically chased up (not offered), tough steak in the main course, and the desserts were underwhelming, especially for the price.
At no point during any course were we asked how anything was.
A surly demeanour by one particular staff member added to the disappointment.
Music was too loud, and when more than one customer complained, the response was that it couldn’t be reduced in volume. Room temperature was way too cold, and the style of music was completely inappropriate for the style of venue.
When I asked (when paying) if feedback would make any difference, the cold reply was ‘not financially’.
This place was once fine silver service dining at its best, but now all you get is silver service prices. We had eaten at the Wrest Point casino for less money a week before, and it massively overshadowed the quality at this place. Mediocre food at high prices with bad pub quality, atmosphere and attitude.
We’d never eat there again.
It started all so well with the pate' and the cured salmon, but then with each dish that came out after the disappointment grew. The crispy pork skin was extremely tough, where we gave up trying to cut through it. We didn't finish the lamb as it was very salty. Finally the dessert seemed like they just wanted it to be over with strawberries and a scoop of mascarpone on top. Would recommend ala care rather than 'feed me'.
It smelt terrible and there was a fly infestation everywhere disgusting and would not recommend
Fantastic Service! Thank you so much for hosting my Staff Christmas function yesterday. Everthing was spot on. Food was lovely and the service from the young lady Billie was absolutely first class. She treated us unbelievably well. Thank you team!
