Honest dealership! When was the last time you got a job done at a dealership cheaper than quoted because the mechanic’s were able to get it done quicker than expected? Things like this build you a lifetime of trust and loyalty to a business. Sean is service is absolutely sensational. His customer service and eagerness to go above and beyond on multiple occasions shows the quality in the team culture within this dealership. First time customer and will definitely be back. Had to have my car towed in as my regular dealer was busy and the service team at Mawson Lakes VW were more than happy to help us out. Our advisor Mia made sure to keep us updated the whole time with clear communication and ensured the issue was resolved in a timely manner.

After calling a number of Adelaide dealers with a malfunctioning infotainment unit in my Golf R we got into Mawson Lakes Volkswagen to assess the problem. I had the pleasure of meeting Sean Tolson, despite the unit having to be replaced Sean, was caring professional and very easy to deal with. He made me feel very comfortable, the part was ordered and we came back for the installation. Again Sean was there to greet us and make us feel comfortable. I didn’t buy my car from this dealer and being from interstate had no idea what I was going to get and therefore had to lower my expectations, however thanks to Sean this process has been handled with great care and professionalism, and I couldn’t be happier. I felt at all times like I was a customer of Mawson Lake and they obviously give five star attention to everyone. I have no hesitation recommending this business for customer service and care.

We ordered a new vehicle in late November 2022 going through the ordering process was ok considering we had to carefully scrutinise every detail of the contract of sale with some details either missing or incorrect at least 3-4 times.

As we went ahead with the build of the car we were told the expected wait time is around 10-12 months or if we were lucky sooner. We weren’t exactly happy with such a long wait but settled for the hopes of getting the car to our specs.

Without any communication from start to now I contacted your dealership today 2/5/2023 to get some idea of if the build had started etc and to check that everything was on schedule.

I received the return phone call at around 5: 30pm that night to be told the van has a new ETA of around may 2024! I’m sorry VW but 18 months for a build is not ok.

By the time that van arrives here for me to drive the next years model would be available and would hardly be a brand new car!

Perhaps this isn’t so directed at the dealership themselves but VW as a whole. This is very disappointing as a customer ready to invest over $70,000 and already waiting close to 6 months.

To say I’m disappointed is a bit of an understatement and it reflects how VW’s efficiency to manufacture vehicles to customer demands just simply cannot be met.

I sincerely hope that no other customers have the same experience I have.

Have just bought a car from Bon and the team at Mawson Lakes Volkswagen. Have to say the best service I could ever ask for hands down. Eleanor organised my finance in hours and the whole experience was great. I run my own business and it was refreshing to get some wonderful service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Lachlan was very kind and professional with consistent communication and providing the right balance of support and direction in helping you arrive at the right decision. The journey in buying a car can be a nervous one, and that too, paved with many options and opinions, a room full of experts with not knowing whom to listen to. The showroom was exceptionally well presented, and the other staff there make you feel very welcome. You'll be in good company here, and he'll be sure to look after you and make the whole process fun and memorable.
