Mawson Lakes Hotel restaurant

Diverse menu in a spacious setting. Just had a large family lunch, I think there was approximately 20 of us. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly especially Monique as nothing was too much trouble for her. Will be back

Really nice meals and staff couldn't be more helpful. Been a couple of times now and will be back again.

It's been a long time since I have been here for food, and it will be a long time before I go back. The food does not come close to justifying the prices and there are enough other options in the area, that I don't need to go back. For context $29 for a schnitzel and gravy might be justifiable if it fills the plate, but this wasn't even close to that. The food was better than it used to be, but that is hardly a ringing endorsement given how poor it used to be. The service staff are just going through the motions and this place has the feeling of a pub with no competition and no care factor.

Went here for lunch. Had a very nice meal. I was in a group of over 10 people, and we all enjoyed our meals.

The senior lunch is more expensive than the other hotels with more variety to choose from,

We had a table of 10 we all had issues with our meals. Ranging from good being cold to re heated soggy fish. Bar and kitchen staff busy laughing and mucking around in the kitchen while im waiting to order. 3rd time we have been since covid and it has been average every time.
Won't be back.

Pleasant and clean place, slightly noisy due to the design. Basic menu possibly a little on the high side for price for what's on offer. Food quality was good and presented well.

Still good after all these years!

The staff were very accommodating. Great variety of vegan and vegetarian food at dinner that was great tasting

Mmmm, food sizes are very large, however, waiting time for our meals blew out to over 1 hour and 15 mins, The restaurant wasn't that busy at all either, plus my entree of oysters came out after my main, only because I had to follow up where it was...

I sat close to the restaurant but did not engage in a meal. The restaurant still looked very open, inviting and clean. I have a soft spot for this hotel.

Price to size of meal is decent. Never had a bad meal here (knock on wood!).
Delivery time to table can vary if the dining area is full, so plan accordingly. Generally very speedy though when not full.

The worst atmosphere, service and food ever experienced. We came for Mother’s Day breakfast. $135 wasted. Placed at a 5 seat table for our booking of 6 people, waited 15 minutes to be served. Staff were rude, buffet completely inadequate- no plates, then no bacon, then no eggs. 1 star is too generous.

Holy smokes the food was good. Little on the pricey side for a pub feed but well worth it. Quiet enough to hold a convo across the table without shouting, speedy service. All round win!

I was with a party of about 24 people. We had a booking - we did not overwhelm the hotel without notice. Most of us are seniors so we had the $15 menu or the $20 one which gives you garlic bread, main course, cake & coffee. The 2 waiters assigned to our table were efficient, friendly & accurate. We all enjoyed our food & were pleased with the service.
