Very disappointed in this kia dealer. Great service BEFORE the money is paid. Bought a brand new Seltos, now having problems with dashboard signals coming and going mostly going, it’s dangerous. Rang service department. They said I’d have to wait weeks to get it seen to, to be honest, the girl didn’t seem to know what the hell she was talking about, so I asked to speak to the service manager. Rang her she wasn’t there. I left a message and I’m still waiting for that call back, this was about two months ago. Really bloody angry, not good enough.

Bit of a mixed review. Was fantastic service until I paid the total sum of the car. Then if I needed a question answered it was like pulling teeth.

When collecting my new car they told me I needed to take it back the following week for a service which upon purchasing car I was told would already be done so I didn’t need to make the drive down again.

After this service my car leaked a whole tank of oil onto my driveway as they didn’t re fit the plug correctly. Service Centre was quick to come collect car and leave a loan and fix the issue. They sent someone out to clean the driveway however it did not come off. I was told he would speak to his manager and get back to me the following week. 3 weeks later and 2 emails to him I still have not heard back. Very disappointed.

I recently took delivery of my new Sportage GT-Line. I had exceptional service from the moment I entered the showroom to the day I drove away. Nick was amazing! He let me have the test car over a weekend so I could get a proper feel for the vehicle - that was an absolute game changer as I was looking at another vehicle but having driven their car for 2 days - my mind was made up! He never pressured me or kept ringing - he just let us make our minds up and take our time. The was a long waiting period but Nick told us this straight up and tried his best to keep us informed of progress of the delivery date despite him not receiving much communication from the factory. On day of collection, Nick took plenty of time with me and went through everything in fine detail to ensure that I knew how to operate all the different gadgets, knobs & functions. He reiterated that he was available anytime for any queries. I found Nick and all the other staff we dealt with to be very friendly and professional - it was a pleasure dealing with them.

I bought a brand new Kia Cerato sports plus, driven only 5500km and got EPB (Electric Power Break) sign on screen. The car was towed to Kia Cheltenham. Staff asked me left the car and refused to provide me any loan car and they have no idea when car will be fixed.
I’m paying my car loan instalments every week and I don’t have any car to go to work or grocery.
If you are plaining to buy a KIA Do not sell your old car.
I am regretting to buy KIA.
Very disappointed with service department Cheltenham, unprofessional, non supportive
I would give them 0 star if there was 0.

The whole experience in here is a mess with no commitment with their verbal communication with customer. We came here to order the new seltos model, at first they are very professional to introduction us a new model and told us about the pre order deposit is refundable if we change our mind. When we placed the order in the binding legal contract has no condition about deposit is refundable, in that time, we did ask about why there is no condition in the contract about deposit refund if we would change our mind. And they said don't worried about that, if we change our mind, they will refund the whole deposit back to us. And when we change our mind, after 10 day we place the deposit, when we came to their store, they said that the legal binding contract had no condition about refundable deposit, and they didn't want to refund the deposit to us.
However, after talking with their manger, the manager said that if salesperson was him, he would not said about commitment of the refundable deposit. He blamed us which are his customers that we had an issue with ourselves and bad behaviour. And, he only accept to offer the refund only when I told about his salesperson verbal commitment with us.

I do not recommend this dealership as they do not commit with their verbal communication with customer and how they trick customer in contract which is legally binding and blame customer about everything.

We've been trying to get our KIA Seltos fixed for more than 3 months and it's still not done. Was delivered with the radio and GPS system broken on arrival. Poor service from the Maughan Thiem team and little to show from the Kia warranty.

This business has provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No commitment to communication - even when prices will increase on a new car! The escalation process is a joke, with managers providing less assistance than sales staff. Do not waste your time here, find ANY other dealer.

First of all we would like to thank the whole team, Nick, Casey & Matt where simply amazing. We just picked up a new Sportage and we could not be happier. We could not be more satisfied by choosing Maughan Thiem and specially Nick. Nick was simply amazing from the beginning to the end. He is super nice, always helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The process was smooth and easy thanks to him, he made us really comfortable and made it an amazing experience. I highly recommend choosing Maughan Thiem.

Had a fantastic buying experience (not pushy, very laid back), and after sales support, would 100% recommend this team, props to John Moskos specifically, he has gone above and beyond to assist with any enquiries or issues I have had post sale.

If anyone is in the market for a kia, don't hesitate to give these guys a call! Hands down best kia dealers in Adelaide

Very poor customer service and services. Booked my Kia Sportage in for its log book service, when asked if I needed a loan car I said yes, when asked if there were any issues I stated “check the brakes and change the back break lights along with the national recall of a part that needed to be replaced. ” On arrival they didn’t have a loan car for me said it was never requested.lots of confusion between counter staff they didn’t seem to know too much about what was going on. Did end up finding one due to a cancellation. Car was serviced however they didn’t have the parts for anything that needed to be fixed, no replacement part for the safety recall, no brake pads and no rotors for brakes and no battery. Double checked they changed the light then I drive off to have the brake light warning come up - they didn’t even change it or look at it as the casing was left off like I had left it. When i called to complain there was no accountability. Took the car back and requested they fixed the light they said they would have done it but maybe it blew again (absolutely not the case). Have had my car serviced previously in WA and service was always perfect along with the presentation of the car on retrieval - they gave it a “quick wash and vacuum” as Morgan said and it was not at all looking like it had been cleaned. I am now out of pocket getting the car cleaned, having another service provider replace the brakes for me (which Maugham Thiem quoted $2000 but I’ve since been quoted $900 along with new battery for $120 which Maugham Thiem quoted $500). No one cared whatsoever about any of the issues no apologies and zero customer service. Over charging by or a service they can’t actually fulfil completely and no explanation as to why they have no parts when a few other dealerships or service centres down the road have it all and much cheaper. Do not recommend. Plenty of other places you can go in Adelaide.

We needed to update our 5-year-old Honda CRV and Hyundai I30 and after much deliberation settled on a new Kia Sportage Plus and a new Honda HRV RS. Unfortunately, we both loved the Sportage's features such as power driver seat, smart tail-gate, rear vents, integrated Sat Nav and front sensors to the point that no-one wanted to drive the Honda. In desperation I rang the ever-helpful Selina complaining about the Honda and asked her for a solution. The long and the short of it is that we now are the happy owners of two KIA Sportages thanks to the wonderful team at Maughan Thiem KIA Cheltenham.

They talked me into very expensive service that wasn't worth half of the money. Didn't fix the problem I had with my roof. Said that it's working fine. I wonder why I still can't close it then. Very unpleasant experience in general. Won't be back.

WORST EXPERIENCE - ZERO CUSTOMER CENTER APPROACH - LOT OF ATTITUDE, i had been there last Saturday for making a contract - there attitude is worst - waited there for 30 minutes- not offered any seats, nothing - no body assist me, already informed that coming to do a contract. Also did a complaint to manager, but same attitude - all in vain, no response. WILL NOT SUGGEST ANYBODY TO GO AND BUY THE CAR. THANKS TO GOD - i am saved from them - if I bought with them - the life become hell.

What a Great experience we have had with Everyone that we crossed paths with on the Journey to buying our first New car, a 2020 Kia Sportage SUV @ Maughteim Kia Cheltenham. Nothing was too much trouble, especially as Covid hit. We were contacted reguarly by Selena and Harry, with Mathew and the other team memebers all on board it makes for the running of a good dealership. I had seen when we were looking at the range of cars in the showroom, that the new cars would have Balloons on them for the customer on delivery day, however, I'm not a lover of balloons so Selena got Foil Baloons with the same spelling as our number plate and chocolates as well for our Big Delivery day. Im Sold on the team work and the friendly enviroment here @ Maughteim Kia Cheltenham

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Matt who is the sales manager at Maughan Thiem Kia. After a few bad experiences with a couple of other dealerships i am glad we had the opportunity to meet Matt. He listened to our needs, made us feel very comfortable and overall made the whole experience of purchasing a vehicle an enjoyable one.
