Marion Hotel

We had a wonderful stay with the family. Excellent service and staff are all friendly. Plenty of parking.

Stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. Left my puffer jacket and they did not return it. Said that they didn't find it in the room which im pretty sure it is where i left it. Also, For some reason me and my daughter had rushes (most likely the curtains). The hallway leading to our room had unpleasant smell too

Good location. Great venue. Came down for a 90 th birthday in the function room.
Cheese platters were supplied to each of the tables.
We had our own bar and staff member which was great. Great re noise in the function room.
Bedrooms were fairly large and quiet.

Friendly staff and great ambiance in the bar/dining area. There's also a nice beer garden that would be a cool spot to chill on warmer days.

Stayed with family for three nights and we included breakfast in the package. Cleaning and Service were great and breakfast has plenty of option.

Fantastic modern hotel with great bars and restaurant. Attentive friendly staff and wide variety of wines.

Went for a drink and listened to some live music. Was great place to catch up with friends

Food very poor. Prawns $32 6 prawns and and a dried up bit of black rice for main course. Chips cold and dry that accompanied the 250gm steak that didn’t look like 250gm. Not impressed

Wish I’d read the reviews regarding the prawns prior to going, I mean what’s with the ‘forbidden’ rice? It was inedible-dry and nil flavour.

The sign of a poor chef is one that can't even fry some fish. A half a cherry tomato and smaller piece of cucumber hidden by a bit of lettuce. Will never come back.

Loved our meal the staff were wonderful Toni looked after our table and other staff we could not have had a better time. And you are so far ahead of the other hotel it not silly. We will be back

We ate in the dining room which was very nice - pork belly starters (nice but overpriced for what you get) - my wife had the caesar salad with chicken - the poached egg was hard, the croutons were huge and many were just bread, the haloumi cheese was rock hard and inedible, the crispy bacon overcooked until it was inedible but the chicken was nice. I had the garlic prawns which for some reason still had the heads attached which meant a very messy meal as the garlic seemed to be present as garlic oil. The prawns were sitting on black rice which had a taste that I could not swallow. This was our first time back since the renovations as we ate here regularly before but after tonight never again.

Firstly, it’s a beautiful venue with a great range of drinks and excellent service.

However the food is simply awful. I rarely write reviews, but need to in this case.

This was the consensus in a group of 9. I personally had a curry that was incredibly bland (with an unpleasant smell) and decided I’d rather go home and eat a tub of hummus and crackers.

The mushroom dish was also bland and had incredibly bitter witlof that was inedible.

I ate here 12 months ago and hoped a new menu would be better, but alas they simply don’t know how to cook nor eat their own food.

Actually it wasn’t all awful, the bread rolls were warm and delicious.

Very nice place for a night out with the family or friends for a get together or birthday. Loved the atmosphere and the food is great too, couldnt ask for much more!

Went for dinner and the service was unpleasant as you have to line up to order food which there was a significant line up and also you are to collect your food order from the kitchen to bring back to your table.
There weren't any prices listed on the drink menu and the food is way over priced. Most meals costed about $30, even just for fish and chips!

Good space with good menu. Consistency seems to vary from visit to visit. For example, there have been four different iterations of a steak sandwich during recent lunch visits. Service is generally good.

Was wonderful and would recommend it to any one traveling was beautiful from and she awesome friendly staff

The service was great considering it's a Saturday night but the prawns in my linguine weren't peeled. The food was sub-par altogether and their wine pours were way uneven. Just buy a bottle because they will gyp you.

A great meal from the new Marion hotel. The steak was about one of the best I have ever had. It was about 50 to 60 mm thick and about 150 mm diameter cooked just perfect. The staff were great and did regular checks to make sure you were happy and had everything you wanted. Would definitely recommend.

Cant complain at all clean happening place.cocktails was awsome tad expensive but worth it.food omg so much flavour and great variety and as for staff.made it feel like they was there only for you.very refreshing as i work for a hotel aswell
