I’ve had bad service before but these guys take it to a new level of incompetent service. 1 pizza under cooked and then argued about it. Veal scallopini, which we have had at the other Marcelina before was totally different with melted cheese on top with no cream sauce. Was disgusting and I eat almost everything lol. Would never recommend them to a stray dog as a dog would deserve better. The risotto was the only nice meal which a few of us shared in the end
So off to hungry jacks went and will never will return. Good luck!

Went in for a meal and the staff did their best to make us feel welcome. Clearly more of a takeaway restaurant now. Would have given them a 4 but quite pricey.

Edit. 12: 52am. Arrived early hot and it's delicious. Went from reading these old reviews to a courtesy call from the delivery man saying he's here and his pizzas are made from quality ingredients.

Half way into a pizza and I'm done. I want more but I'm full. Proper cheese. Yummm.

Ordered two pizzas, one was sloppy and greasy while the other was so greasy and oily the toppings had slid off the pizza and were stuck to the box. When my wife called to advise the store of the poor quality she was yelled at by the manager / owner for some time and was told that we shouldn't have ordered bbq sauce on the pizza. Given the attitude of the manager to my wife and me we refused their offer to remake the pizza and will not be returning. TL;DR don't waste your time or money with this place as you'll have to reorder from somewhere else anyway

The oozing pictures speak for themselves. We ordered a steak and onion pizza added bacon and a swirl of BBQ sauce. I repeat a swirl of BBQ sauce. When the pizza arrived the delivery driver asked for a plate to catch the ooze coming from the box. I called the shop to complain within seconds I was yelled at before i could finish what happened, the driver had reported the problem and the owner blamed me straight away. I tried to remain calm but he kept yelling at me telling me the soggy dripping pizza was my fault because I ordered it with BBQ sauce. I admit I snapped and yelled back for him to stop yelling at me after taking his abuse for quite a while. The owner had me in tears but kept yelling saying we dont make the pizza with bbq sauce so its my fault. I then handed the phone to my husband who was also yelled at and all he said was hello, my husband kept saying hello but the marcellina guy he just kept yelling. The pizza was dripping, awful, disgusting and the service was the most appalling I have had anywhere.
We contacted head office and had no apology, no offer of refund just an admission there is a problem with the management at Aberfoyle Park store and not to go there till it's fixed. I replied ill never visit another Marcellina pizza.

The pizza tasted good and we were glad for the gluten free crust! Friendly staff. The owner helped us build our order to get a better deal!

I, like many others, made the mistake thinking that this chain of pizzeria wouldn’t let it’s reputation be sullied by such poor standards.

The pizza I ordered was cold, flat, poor tasting and I’m sitting here wondering if I’m going to wake up in 12 hours with gastro/food poisoning.

The restaurant and staff were filthy, the staff grunted at me when I walked in, didn’t talk and pushed an eftpos machine in my face for payment.

Never again.

My partner and I ate here last week, the service was great, the pizza was amazing, the flavours were full, everything was cooked fresh, the bases were obviously prepared on the day. The owner of the establishment received training from Marcellina on Hindley Street in the city, which has been around for many years and that place is nothing short than excellent. As a Pizza Critic, I assure you that you'll be getting bang for your buck at this place

Ordered 2 9" pizzas at midnight, yet still took them an hour too cook? I know you guys ain't that busy. If I was the owner reading all these reviews I'd be making big changes. Buy clearly they don't care. What a joke. Pick up your game. Never ordering again.

Waited over 1.5hrs for the delivery of our $80 order through uber eats where we were only 7km away. Order kept getting delayed. Called to ask what the delay was and the person was rude just making excuses, no sorry for the inconvenience or the delay just blamed the uber drive who hadnt even arrived yet then back tracked and said he hadn't cooked it. - really after 1 hour of ordering? !
When we received the food it was cold (as the uber driver did 2 drops) Mushrooms gravy on my schnitzel tasted like it was cooked in a cup of vinger and our 2yr old who loves pasta refused to eat his. I dont blame him. 1.5hrs for a green salad, traditional pasta a schnitzel. Oh and some $16 pizza base thing with a pinch of tomato and red capsicum on it. Frozen pizza from Coles is better value. Wont be ordering from here again thats for sure.

This place is disgusting. You walk in to a dirty dining area. You can see into the kitchen and clearly see that it hasn't been cleaned in years. Poor hygiene, the food was prepped with the same knives (meat and veggies) which makes me wonder how the food is kept. The manager was abusing his staff and treating them very poorly.

I tried the food and it was horrible. Poorly made, soggy and made me feel sick after.

I don't recommend this place after what I have witnessed.

Very disappointing, i order two pizza and one was completely a different pizza. Had to go back and change it. The pizza i then recived was horrible and the base wasnt even cooked. Was so bad had to put it in the bin. 100% would not recommend. A raw egg would have been more satisfying. Wouldn't even give a start but have to to post.

$65 for an oversized chicken nugget (or a "schnitzel", as they call it), and a pizza with "The lot" that was 70 percent capsicum and as flat as a 2 dollar homebrand wrap bread. Not what it used to be only a few years back.
