Maldon Avenue Reserve reviews
7 Update: Now 5 stars as there is a toilet, well nearly a toilet still being connected as of early June but looks like it won't be long. This makes Maldon a better than great reserve
24th June still closed
Found on the Sturt River Linear Park Trail, it is a great reserve to spend some time in.
The plantings around the majestic trees have broken the park into sections so you only see pieces at a time.
Hard and soft surface paths, Plenty of shade, Very Interesting Playground, Several seats and covered area.
There is a water fountain but no dog bowl. Picnic tables and Bbq.
But does have a Turtle.
Great park, my niece and nephew love it, big spaces and love how much nature is actually involved instead of a giant patch of grass and just so playground in the middle. The attentive care towards the native birds and such that use the park as their home is good too. And they're about to have a public toilet set up there too which is very useful.
Modern playground, BBQ and eating area. The only downfall is lack of public toilet for family events.
Good park, lots of space for kids to run and play.as well as play ground.there is a bbq and coverwd seating.only down fall is there is no public toilets
A quiet spot away from traffic. Perfect if you want a bit of privacy to exercise!
Really fun park but doesn't have a toilet. BBQ facilities are great and a variety of play equipment
Nice reserve, but there's a pole that has been cut down. There is about 4 inches remaining out of the ground wich i cut my toe on. Very hard to see when the grass hasn't been cut for a while. I was wearing thongs at the time.massive council liability, very dangerous. It's in the northern area, just before the first entrance.
