Had the next mattress up in quality or whatever the measure of cost was. No waiting, just sweet sleep. Sure, it cost a bit more, but my kids back will appreciate the extra spend coming from a firmer mattress he had before.

I ordered completely online. Great website, lots of product information which made selection easy and super easy online ordering. Delivery team were quick to set up a delivery date, they were very responsive to my queries and even coordinated a late notice collection of my old mattress 'on the spot. ' The mattress itself is very comfortable and clearly good quality (manufacture and materials are sturdy). Really happy with this product and service.

Have just bought a new mattress from the Bellissimo range. Staff were friendly & helpful. Delivery, set-up & removal of old ensemble was quick & professional. Now to get used to a new, firmer mattress. Also purchased the base with 4 drawers, which was a good price. Purchased this mattress as you can flip the mattress over. A lot of mattresses are unable to do this now, so bed wears in same spot.

The service was very good, they even change the base the same day because it didn’t fit my stairs. I totally recommend it

Was tired of being ripped off by salesmen who push the"wrong way". I decided to try Making Mattresses on South Road.
I walked in and it was clean, warm and well layed out. I was invited to look around, sit on, lay on, try out the beds.
The one I found the most comfortable was a little more than I expected to pay but I could see it was worth the extra.
Delivery was great, reasonably fast as well. The delivery guys were great, no request was refused.
Their truck broke down in my drive, but no hassles.
Would I buy again? Yes, yes, yes.

So far we have only had 2 nights sleep on our Bellismo firm mattress and it is sooo comfortable.
Making Mattresses have a great range and found the salesman very helpful. It's a good store that certainly know their business. It was our first time there but we're sure it will not be our last.

Ordered 3 single siesta mattresses online after being really happy with a previous purchase. Happy with the price for a good quality mattress and they were delivered within a few days of ordering. The delivery guys were polite and friendly.

SO impressed with the service from start to finish. Ordered a mattress & base for my 84 yr old mum on a Friday night. Excellent website, super easy to navigate & order. Got a text the next morning to arrange delivery on the following Tuesday. I had mentioned Mum’s age on the order, so Katrina recommended fixed legs rather than casters. Mum lives in an old house, on delivery day it turned out that the new QS base wouldn’t fit through her low bedroom doorway (even though her existing bed was QS, it must have been slightly smaller). No problem, a new split base was MADE that day and delivered in the afternoon. The benefits of buying direct from the manufacturer! Amazing service and communications, highly recommend Makin Mattresses!

Definitely an industry problem, but the prices are very shadily set to force you to jump up price brackets quickly. While you can get quality mattresses here, if your price point is between $1500 and $2500 you will find that the difference in quality is a huge step, but your budget may not stretch. You can get quality Adelaide made mattresses elsewhere for less than $2500, and they feel like the >$2500 mattresses here. Also beware of mattress that have pillowtops.

Saleswoman was kind, but seemed a bit vacant, but I also sensed she was not commissioned for sales, which is preferable in a toxic industry, her service and helpful information by MakinMattresses (never buy a single sided mattress) pushes this review up by 2 stars.

I used Makin Mattresses for all the beds when I set up holiday rentals. Often my customers asked me where the mattress came from because they were so comfortable. This week I purchased a Bellisimo mattress to be made to the custom size of my antique bed. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, the whole exercise took about 20 minutes and it will be built and delivered in 2 weeks. So nice to deal with a local business keeping jobs in Australia rather than buying an import. Five Stars in every way!
