Majestic Roof Garden Hotel reviews
64Hi, my stay, s over the time in the majestic roof top garden was exiting and fun sorry I did not stay while visiting Adelaide s.a
Had a lovely stay but then left property in my room by accident, I called them and they said they threw it out.
The Majestic Roof Garden is really recommended, super nice service, they are also happy to provide information about Adelaide. Great rooms and definitely book with breakfast. The breakfast is sensational. All in all, we were completely satisfied.
My recent stay at Majestic Roof Garden Hotel was a pleasantly satisfying experience that perfectly met my needs. From the cleanliness of the rooms to the convenience of the lobby restaurant's affordable coffee prices, this hotel provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The room I stayed in was meticulously clean and well-maintained. The attention to detail was evident, and I appreciated the effort the housekeeping staff put into ensuring a spotless environment. The comfortable bedding and well-appointed amenities added to the overall cozy ambiance of the room.
One of the highlights of my stay was the lobby restaurant, particularly the incredibly reasonable prices for coffee. As a coffee enthusiast, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could indulge in my favorite beverage without breaking the bank. This thoughtful touch demonstrated the hotel's commitment to providing value to its guests.
While the hotel may not boast the most extravagant features, it excels in offering a comfortable and hassle-free experience. The staff were courteous and attentive, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The convenient location of the hotel made it easy to explore the surrounding area and enjoy nearby attractions.
In summary, Majestic Roof Garden Hotel offers a no-frills yet satisfying stay. The emphasis on cleanliness, along with the affordability of the lobby restaurant's coffee prices, makes it an excellent choice for travelers looking for comfort and convenience without the extravagance. I left with a positive impression and would consider returning for future trips
Decent rooms with no view, great location and very good food (breakfast). The only negative thing I experienced was they charged me $50 when I checked in, however although I spent $22 on extras, the $50 was gone.
Have stayed here many times. This time, however, our room felt like it was in middle of Adelaide fringe. So noisy couldn't sleep. Fortunately we were able to move rooms following day for some peace and quiet.
Other than the shabby room with no cooking facilities, my week at this place was made pleasant by Bonica on the front desk, who was very welcoming and pleasant.
The location is a good walk to Rundel Mall and the good things to see in Adelaide.
The staff here are amazing especially the girls who worked in the restaurant at breakfast time. They made us all feel very welcomed and valued.
Nice hotel but on New Year's Eve the rooftop boulcany was closed just before and at midnight. We weren't warned that it was going to be closed at midnight on NYE. Me along with a group of other guests ended up in the hotel elevator at midnight. It should be called Majestic Rooftop Garden Is Closed Hotel.
Nor were we told why it was closed or given any extra information or compensation. I won't be staying here again.
Absolutely beautiful and clean rooms!
I stayed for work reasons however I wish I had more time to lounge in the room!
Meals and Breakfast were lovely too! Added bonus is the coffee and chocolates in the room!
Centrally located in Adelaide, this hotel leaves you wanting to prebook your next stay when you check out. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern, the staff very friendly and restaurants are divine.
Lovely hotel. Rooms were wonderfully clean and comfortable. Well done to the housekeeping staff. Helpful front desk people
Had 3 nights at the majestic recently, lovely room, very clean and roomy, all the staff from cleaning to front of desk were all very friendly and welcoming, would definitely recommend this hotel
In town for a quick overnighter and this hotel was the perfect location for us.
Central to everything we needed including the club we were attending, great restaurants to choose from, easy and secure parking all within 500 metres of our room!
Very friendly and helpful front desk staff (24/7!)
I have to point out the -only- fault that was a little disappointing.
As regular travellers, we often say the only really important things about accommodation are a hot shower and a comfy bed.
Unfortunately the shower, while being absolutely beautiful and well presented, had rubbish water pressure.
I understand water is a precious resource as we often travel remotely, but for an inner-city hotel to have less shower pressure/flow than our 12v offgrid shower.
Otherwise, I'll be more than happy to stay again and perhaps just allocate more time for showering
Service here was second to none. Location is great. The beds are ultra comfy. Only criticism was it could be a little more soundproof. Would stay again.
I enjoyed my stay thank you. Rooms were clean with great bathrooms. Staff are efficient and polite.
Great location, professional, efficient and friendly staff. A few maintenance issues with my room on arrival which were checked and noted by Front Desk staff. Note, if you want to wake up to sun rising in the east, ask for a room on the top floor, SE area to avoid the lights of the multi level carpark opposite shining in your room all night, if like me you like curtains open at night.
We booked this hotel based on other reviews and using our great state voucher. We were very pleased with the customer service, the clean fresh and modern room with beautiful bath and view of street. Location was excellent right on Rundle Street which was great for fringe. The breakfast was an added bonus with amazing Smokey bacon and very well made coffee. Won’t hesitate to book again
The location is good. There was a particular gentleman serving us that obviously had a hero complex.
Good service isn't only about making sure everyone is drinking slowly. It's about making sure your guests have fun, safely. And you were over the top.
You know who you are.
Rarely come into the city, so we spoilt ouselves and booked using our State voucher. Fabulous room and location! Dissappointed with the Rooftop garden and unfortunately parked at the wrong carpark and was charged $58 for 1 night! So make sure you park on Bent St for $26.
