Chips were great, but the hot chicken rolls were very average. Nice salad in them, but the chicken was very dry (I'm guessing they used yesterday's chicken), the bread roll was far too small and it was very under seasoned and bland.
Too expensive for what they were.
Great food, great service!
Heads up for everyone though, they have a surcharge for card payment. No biggie at all. But bring the Cash and save the cents!
An incredible experience. BBQ CHICKENS is truly an enjoyable atmosphere with customer service and exceptional food as its key values and focus. The employees were lovely and happy to help, and made sure to serve with a smile. I appreciate everything this wonderful company did for me and my group!
The chips are absolutely amazing. Had an AB pack which was insane. Great service and definitely coming back!
The ONLY place I can find in Adelaide that actually does crispy chips when I ask for extra well done. Honestly best chips and love the service - great place!
I am a man who has traveled the entire globe and I have never been to a better chicken shop than Magill BBQ Chicken.
Friendly staff and nice meals but you need to put on more staff.
We waited too long for our food.
Also we ordered a chicken nuggets pack but only got the nuggets.
Quite pricey but I got the AB and it was amazing. The chips are very crispy and a good serving size. Maybe a tiny bit more sauce would have been great however good overall.
SHOCKINGLY EXPENSIVE! $15.40 for a QUARTER of a chicken! You gotta be kidding me!
Next door at Foodland, they're less than $12 for a WHOLE chicken! And FREE RANGE to boot!

The fish and chip shop at Sterling beats this place hands down. It's STILL cheaper to drive all the way to Stirling and back!
This was by far the worse chicken shop we have been to. We bought 4 ABs and chicken schnitzel hot pack. We could not finish it at all and felt sick afterwards. Meat stale, chicken tasteless. So sorry but it was a waste of money.
Used to be great, but they swapped their chips to more of a fry and has lost its flavour. Nit an expert but could say their oil needs more of a change too.
Just bought a whole chicken and large chips. Chips were brown and hard as a rock. The kids couldn’t even bite into them. Chicken was dry.
The worst steak sandwich i ever had in my life.no at all seasoned steak is halfly cooked rubbery and tough. Bbq sauce states extremely tangy, sugary and stale. 15c surcharge applied to $9 order. Would recommend anyone to come.
The chicken is always really delicious! So flavoursome and tender. Chips are really yum and always well salted! Their seafood salad is also soooo good
I have tried the crumbed sausage pack and chicken schnitzel pack. Not the best I've had, but also not the worst. The crumbed sausage uses hotdog meat instead of a beef sausage like some places, personally I prefer the beef sausages. The meal is standard quality for a takeaway shop.it is more expensive than other take aways shops nearby.
I’ve been coming here since I was 7 and they are hands down the greatest chip shop in Adelaide. The workers are always friendly and the food is catered in good time and at a high quality. Would highly recommend this place to anyone living in magill.
Great customer service. Yummy chickens, júcy and still fresh for sandwiches during the week. Yummy salads. Meal packs are generous. Yummy hot chips. Yummy gravy. Can buy cold drinks, and icecreams here.

One thing I've noticed about takeaway shops in
Adelaide is they are very inconsistent and
Unprofessional. I demand great food for the price I'm paying so I would not recommend this shop to anyone!
