Maggie Beer's Farm Shop reviews
88Nice place however the staff need a little more training. I would say, don’t order ice cream. I paid $5 for a scoop and was served a pretty lazy half scoop.
We are still processing and coming down from such a high, from the grounds, food and the most beautiful staff. Loved our time there and so excited with Maggie's new project.
Great place to visit watch turtles and enjoy the flavours. Follow us Sweet-Az RV'n on youtube
Lovely time sharing the Ultimate experience e with my daughter. Cooking demo then wine tasting then gin tasting. Food from the demo and a platter and glass of wine after. All in a very relaxed well presented format. Lovely day. Lovely location.
We had an amazing time doing the Maggie Beer Indulgent Farm Shop Experience. The demonstration was interesting, the food was amazing, and the staff themselves were so attentive and knowledgeable. We are really glad we did this, as the variety of inclusions was wonderful. We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone interested in trying the wonderful food South Australia has to offer
We walked into the eatery and a very rude man told us we could not enter during service.
He did not ask if we would like a table or a menu. We were wanting to eat in. I would never recommend any one to go there and I certainly will never return.
I have always been a great fan of Maggie and am bitterly disappointed with our treatment today.

Left in disgust without purchasing the items i wanted from the shop.
Great place to sample, some gins and other foods. As well as dine.shop and relax watching the turtles.
Lovely spot in the barossa to spent time here. Would have loved to do a cookery class if time permitted. What a fantastic place maggie beer has created.
Beautiful and quaint little place. Tasty local produce and really nice drinks collection. Dress well to get some nice pictures
Lovely day here with an awesome lunch, good wine and excellent service. The renovations done since our last visit here were fantastic. Peaceful & relaxing.
Never answer their phone. Turned us away at 1.55pm with sign still out saying open until 3pm. Now they have decided to discriminate. Pathetic.
Hi
We arrived from NSW so excited lunch booked at farm eatery. Food was ok, nothing amazing
Dessert was so basic
Chef/ menu needs overhaul
Expectations not meet.
Loved it! Beautiful produce, lovely surroundings - enjoyed coffee and cake and a walk around the farm. Just wonderful!
Was really Looking forward to Maggie's. However, this was overshadowed by dead birds in enclosures and an overall absence of Animal Welfare.
Great experience.friendly helpful staff. Product gallore. Lots of seating inside and out with amazing views over the lake. Very impressed
As a birthday present, I was given a present of the Utimate Farmshop Experience. The morning began which began with wine tasting. We were given a variety of red and white wines to taste, followed by gin tasting. Information was given on each of the wines and what foods they could be served with. Following this, we took part in a cooking demonstration showcasing some of the Maggie Beer products. Three dishes were prepared and we were given hints and ideas on how to use the products. After the demonstration we were served the dishes along with an accompanying glass of non-alcoholic wine. Part of the experience included a grazing board and a bottle of wine which turned into lunch for the day overlooking the lake The grazing board included bread, meat, pickles, pate, quince paste, olives, dried apricots, cheese - a great way to taste some of Maggie's produce. An enjoyable way to spend the day.
We had the cheese and meat platter and there were 3 of us. Everything was yummy! The meat platter consists of olives, pate, pepperoni, little gerkins, onion relish, the cheese platter had apricots, brie, tasty cheese, quince paste and pear relish. This came with 4 slices of lovely sourdough, no crackers. My only suggestion would be a little more bread and a little more meat. Please note, this was very filling and worth buying, just a personal preference
Excellent so much yummy food. One time I could have bought the shop out. Didn't leave empty handed.
Beautiful outlook we had a coffee and cake with almonds and prunes and lemons. Loved walking around the 'kitchen' and sampling someone Maggies tastings.
What an incredible day we had! Everything was absolutely beautiful! Such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere where we could enjoy fabulous food and drink at a relaxed pace. Would definitely recommend a visit!
Had a wonderful day at the farm shop yesterday. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the “Ultimate Experience” and I wasn’t disappointed! Relaxed cooking demo, wine & gin tasting and delicious platter (which I finished for breakfast!) and a bottle of wine to take home! Really enjoyed myself. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing views and a show by the turtles! Even had a freak thunderstorm for a bit of drama. Highly recommend this as a great way to experience all things Maggie Beer!
