Great pub delicious food and awesome prices. I went here for a friends birthday and always wanted to try their wings. They were super delicious and crunchy. My friends ordered schnitzels, and wow! Not only were the schnitzels huge the toppings were just as big. I've never seen such quality and quantity as toppings before. I'm now going to go back to try a schnitzel. There are so many toppings l want to try, I'll have to go back several times. Our food was hot, our drinks were bubbly and the staff and service were great. Highly recommend and will be attending here on a regular basis. Yum!

For a pub going through a renovation and staff shortages the service was quite good. We were informed of the short comings of the staffing and how long food would be giving us the choice to stay or go. We stayed and found the food of good quality but they could look at a couple presentation issues, nothing serious. I think I will wait until the piped music choice changes before returning.
Very good experience but needs polishing.

Went there for lunch. Service was reasonable as far as lunchtime pub meals go. Location is a big draw card.

Tried to book a table. Called twice and no answer.went to website, no option to book. Got to the pub and told we cannot have a table and should have booked. Said we tried! Oh, you need to do it through Facebook. Mmm, where does it say that on your website? C’mon… do better!

Well everyone is raving about their Schitzels, didn't Book a table until 11.30 on a Sunday, are table was right next to the Men's toilet, stank, so I asked if we could sit where a couple just left, nothing extremely amazing, just my opinion, ended up going to the 3 Brother's arms across the road, Band Playing.

Great area.
Must book as very busy. Food was big in size, taste was great.
Brought kids meals out first which is always good.
Take away/ doggy bag for leftovers was given.
Great customer service.
We sat outside, inside was a little crowded for us.
Highly recommend.

Great food. Lots of it. Good seafood basket thing. Great pork belly. Good people running the place. Well worth the visit.

What I ordered: half beef schnitzel with mushroom sauce. What I got: a RAW beef schnitzel with mushroom sauce. I mean it was blue! Showed the waitress who asked if I wanted it put in a take away container? I said no it's raw. She showed the chef who said to offer me a free drink. We declined as we were ready to leave, but I think I should have been offered a full refund as it was inedible! Not happy!

Waited 2 hours for lunch were told hour wait we were ok with that but took another hour 3 of the meals were not very warm mine was dry but was so hungry by then ate it. 2 girls had to eat in 10 mins as they had to leave by 2.30.was a real sad letdown

It's a pub. No idea if they have rooms, snittys were amazing, we got half size and were very content.

Second time we have been at the Macclesfield Hotel and absolutely love it there, the food was great and the service was excellent, has a really good country feel, we will definitely be back again, thanks guys for your hospitality.

Absolute amazing little pub, the food was fantastic, I have told a lot of people about it, staff were excellent, will be coming back for sure very happy.

Pub exterior was under renovation scaffolding, which made parking and access a bit difficult. At this busy time of year it was very noisy. The food took more than an hour to come out, but was excellent. Good serves, fresh and tasty seafood. Staff did their best but needed a little more help. I will definitely go there again when not so busy.

Great little country pub. Nice friendly staff. A great variety of food, with super specials. Under some Reno's at the moment but that makes no impact on their service

Highly recommend the Macclesfield Hotel. Great service by friendly staff and the meals are perfect, though a little on the large size! But you can ask for a doggie bag?

Maccy pub has awesome meals, very busy & quite noisy. Friendly service. Only negative was all the tables were quite congested large tables just too close to each other very difficult to get chairs in and out in the patio area.
But meals great value cooked lovely and very tasty

Great wood oven pizzas on Sunday in the beer garden, great big parmys and all round great meals with friendly service.

Great value 4 money this pub.very kids friendly with a sandpit & tips on the beer garden 4 the kids to use.serves are extraordinarily large.if u r not very hungry share a dish between 2.
