Lyndoch Village Green reviews
19Very pleasant spot, surrounded by nice views, cafes and restaurants, with shaded sitting places and barbecue facilities available.
Fabulous place. We were at the Medieval Fair held there. Only concern is lack of drainage. Council spends thousands else where.but the fabulous venue gets nothing.
Did a big road trip with our greyhounds we went for a walk here and then attacked the Lyndoch bakery give yourself a treat it worth it fantastic bakery sunrise bakery
Barossa Mediaeval Fair on the Lyndoch Village Green.
Great merchants with a wide range of goods.
Armour and Weapons, food and drink, clothing and footwear, games and art, on-site pub.
Many different clubs performed displays of martial prowess.
Rainy on both days and muddy too, be sure to bring waterproof footwear that has good tread.
I play music at the Medieval Fair each year. Big beautiful location but lacks drainage and tuens into a gumboot only quagmire. I feel for the poor dude who had brand new white Nike's that i saw sink into the brown abyss fir the first step. Hearbteaking for him. The fair rocks and well worth the trip. This would be paradise in dry weather.
We will be participating in the Medieval fair this weekend at Lyndoch. The bakery was fantastic as well.
A regular stop on my rides. A great spot for morning tea, a BBQ, or a stoll with your dog. Next to lots of cafes, bakeries, it has all your food needs.
Shelter, and toilets, make it an easy rest stop, or picnic place, with a vast vista to the Barossa Valley.
Great place to just come and sit water in the creek now so lots of ducks and Birdlife, paths are reasonable to walk, but can be waterlogged after rain
Nice walking area with some undercover seating.
Unfortunately due to a protective plover swooping us we had to detour along the main road.
Has a small lake fed by Lyndoch creek
Medievil fair. We go every year. Today 6,500 people through the gates. Great turn out. Had a ball
Good place our dogs enjoy the play very much and nice place to walk.with bakery across the road and cafe
Beautiful to come & relax.many use this place as rejuvenate, as you can restore the body & mind in this tranquil place.luv it here
Strategically positioned benches facing the verdant views specifically intended for silent introspective contemplations as the evening falls.
After travelling it is a great place to stop and walk around the green there are cafes across the round the Bakery Cafe is well worth a visit
Went here for our family Christmas picnic lunch. Beautiful clean spot. Put up our gazebos and perfect weather. Our dogs loved running around on the grass when they were free of the leash. Doggy bags availabe (we had our own) so no excuse not to pick up after your pet and keep the area clean for others, as it should be.
Room for a park and a place to run your dog on the wide green. When you're done there's a lovely bakery over the road with tasty buns and pastries Also a short walk to the Lord Lyndoch, or the Lyndoch Hotel for delish food and a cool beer
Beautiful beautiful place. Bakery across the road sells amazing potato pies. Truly relaxing taking in the view eating great food
