33 Loved the food will come back when I come to Adelaide next
Keep up the good work
Thambili was %nu
Lunnu is a Sri Lankan gem, from the aromatic spices to the perfect balance of heat, every dish was a delight. The attentive staff and cozy atmosphere added to the overall experience. A must-try for anyone craving authentic Sri Lankan cuisine!
We had an extraordinary dinner at Lunnu authentic Sri Lankan restaurant. They were very friendly and the service was excellent. We will definitely come back again. If anyone loves authentic cuisines, well, Lunnu is the place to be. ENJOY!
I am just waiting more than 45 minutes for picking up my order. I don't know how long will it take too. They've advised that it would only take 20 mins. Worst experience in a Sri Lankan restaurant in Adelaide.
It was absolutely amazing! %100 recommend to anyone whose looking for a hidden gem!
Service was quick, staff were lovely, food was amazing! The highlight was the “rice me up Scotty” dish, definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a bit of everything and wants to try something new. The Staff and chef definitely made us feel welcome as well. Just was a 10/10 experience. Wished we lived in the area so we could order every night
Food is good. Its good size to share as well. It’s definitely worth to come. That missing star for the dessert. But still would like to come back.
Best quality sri lankan food in Adelaide, I love the pork deval and cheese koththu & it's so good. Good value for money. Thanks lunuu staff.
I ordered food from this restaurant for the first time via Uber eats on Christmas day. Fry my rice was bland and so oily that I could squeeze out the oil from it. Not worth the price.
Hot and cold (salad and dessert) food were all packed together. Please consider how you pack your food especially when it comes to deliveries.
Great food, cool owner but terrible staff.on more than one occasion the girl at the counter was rude to us for no reason.
Amazing food and service! The cheese kottu and mushrooms are my absolute favourites. The new cocktail made with coconut arrack was really good as well! Have to make reservations on busy nights as the place gets quite busy.
Food was ok. But the Nasi- goreng was not that tasty and had too much soy sauce. Took 45 minutes to served the order.
What a hidden gem this place is if you love quality and amazing flavours please come to Lunuu.
It’s our first time trying Sri Lankan food and it’s 5 star.
It was recommended by a Sri Lankan mechanic. He said if you love Sri Lankan food this is a place to come.
The star dish is called Devilled Pork Advocate.
They are so accommodating, you can add or take off any vegetables have it any heat that you desire.
To top our experience off the service was outstanding.
We can’t wait to bring friends back so we can share the experience that we have had this evening.
This is our 'go to place’ for Friday night take away. Can’t give 5 star yet, but this place is getting there soon.
This is the only decent Sri Lankan restaurant in Adelaide with value for money and consistent quality.
I haven’t dine in yet, but we’ve been loyal customers since opening.
Food was really good and reasonably priced. Spacious dining area with a very clean environment. Service was a little too slow and I had to wait almost 30 mins to get my meals ready
I took few my friends to give them the taste of Sri Lanka and they loved the food and flavors. The winners were the mushroom in-my-heart and the mutton curry! The fried rice was very salty, other than that good food and good prices:)
Have tried here twice ;Food tasted wonderful, had rice n curry, lump rice and godambara roti.
Only problem was I ended up getting food poisoning both times. Hence the 3 stars.
(If you read the reviews, I'm not the only one complaining)
Even though this place has a great ambiance, their level of service is poor.
I placed an order via phone at 4.40pm and said I’ll be there in 30mins to pickup the food. The lady who answered the call accepted the order. We went to the restaurant by 5.10pm. The lady at the reception said it will require about 7 more minutes to get the food. We said OK and waited till 5.30pm. We asked from the lady again where our food is, and she said we have to wait for another 8mins. I mean seriously? We have to wait for 1hr, since the time we placed the order to get food?
Then she kept on giving excuses like we have only one chef and his finger is cut etc. These things are not our concerns. If you can’t give the food, you shouldn’t have taken the order at the first place. Even that woman wasn’t polite. She acted as if she pays us for having the food from the restaurant.
We left empty handed canceling the order. Such a horrible experience.
An overall good experience. Food were good. Ambience was okay. Tried the nasi goreng with fancy name. Not that tasty. Tasted way better nasi goreng in other places. Considering it's the only one in Australian locality, I really cannot expect much. Still i guess worth a try.
We were visiting Adelaide from Sydney and had a group dinner at this restaurant, where we found the presentation nice, food very tasty and value for money.
We can recommend this place to anyone wishing to have a nice meal.
Came here as recommended by a friend. Honest Sri Lankan food. We ordered Vera level kottu with chicken and cheesy kottu with seafood. Both dishes are tasty. The chicken one was a tad too salty to my taste. The cheesy dish is very cheesy. Service is quick and friendly. An affordable place with honest food.
