Lucky Vietnamese Roll Brighton reviews
34While my entree meal of spring roll was limited from the extensive menu, I could see that Lucky deserves a call back visit.
Clean, cozy quiet environment, we had fresh light tasting tofu noodle bowl and quality pork combination broken rice with pork Chop, recommend
This place is amazing quality. I wouldn't take notice of Donald Mckenzie review. I think the amount of customers that go through the door speaks for itself. The food is outstanding.
Great banh mi. The meat is cooked fresh. The roll is toasted when you order.
Glad I stopped here. Will try and visit again!
Disappointing- tasted ok but filling was very light on. Husband says “very average, the place down the road is much better”. I concur.
The bahn mi had a very small amount of filling. Wouldn't really go there again. Sorry but it's better down the road. They have queues out the door
Delicious Pork combo banh mi. Bought the coke and roll combo for $10. Saucey, flavourful and had a decent amount of spice. I personally really like the addition of fatty pieces of roasted pork! Bread was perfect, soft and crispy.will return
The owner is very friendly, good produce! Unfortunately the pho broth isn't there.to top things off my Bahn mi roll was lacking in pork. I think that is me done with lucky Vietnamese! I gave it several attempts and didn't feel so lucky, so close but so far. 6/10 lift your game and lift it soon.
Salt and pepper Vietnamese kitchen if you are looking for a 10/10 best broth in town.
The staff members are nice and not rude to me.like the ingredients they use for the barn mi and noodle salads.its good that this places does a 10 dollar meal deal with a barn mi and drink.
Good bah mih rolls. Lots of other stuff Inc pho etc. Rolls about$8 with any of pork or chicken or veggo
Very nice rolls and look forward to getting one on the weekend for lunch on salivate and service is very good too
Bland and skimpy on ingredients. I understand people have got to make money/profit margin, but what these business owners have to realise is customer satisfaction is number one, without that you have a failing business thats skimping on ingredients and providing substandard dog rolls- there are to many places around these days delivering value for money brilliant dog rolls ie- miss veit down the road, daddy's in the south and Bami with their outrageously large servings!
Noodle Bowl - disappointing. Asked for extra meat.got the amount I would expect without extra, a lot of noodle with not much else. Meat is nice, but cold. Worst part is the pot of sauce they give is only half full, with that many noodles it’s not enough and giving something half full looks terrible, especially when I just paid $17 for one noodle bowl. Plenty of other places to choose from.
An excellent place to get a quick meal. We had the combination pho and spicy beef and pork pho - highly recommended. The place is absolutely clean and the staff is very cordial and welcoming.
The only issue is that space is a constraint, going in a large group may get a bit cramped (more of a takeaway), but if you're planning on having a good cosy meal on a cold day with a friend then it's definitely worth a visit.
I purchased the roast pork salad (no noodles). For $16 there is a woeful amount of pork! Come on Lucky, be competitive! There's a lot of bahn mee traders around.
Pho stock was too salty, suspect it is made using stock paste. Noodles were fresh but poorly prepared and fell apart into tiny pieces. Herbs were light on. Just as expensive as the genuine pho shops. Fillings were ok. As so often happens in Adelaide, owners/staff were clearly speaking mandarin, not vietnamese. It shows in the flavour of the food and is just cultural appropriation.
Now iv tried both the rice and the banh mi roll and i can say both were pretty great choices and id say its probably the third or possibly the second best bahn mi roll iv had in adelaide.
$8.50 for a Banh Mi is day light robbery. The product that was received for $8.50 should make you feel ashamed. Small roll with little protein.
You got your one purchase out of me, will not get a second.
Disappointed with their lemongrass chicken noodle salad. Noodle is not cooked, chicken is tasteless and overcooked so it's hard and dry; sauce is not balanced and a little salty. For its price, I would expect more.
