Lucky Dumpling and Noodle reviews
21Service good. Just some strange combinations. Beef and noodle dish was good, but could tell the beef was close to going off. Vinegar and dumpling dish tasted kinda strange.
Omg. The char siew is to die for! As though transported back to home country, Malaysia.

Quick Service
Delicious tossed noodles
Char Siew is incredible! (Perfect balance of fat and meat 半肥瘦)
Will definitely revisit to try other stuff on the menu.
Another good discovery hunting for Malaysian Chinese food near the city. This has more varieties to try out while the dishes were nice enough for us to come again. Hainanese Chicken Rice was on par. Stir-fried radish cake was up to standard - crusty outside and soft inside - could be better if more tasty. We liked 煎釀三寶湯米粉 (Stuffed veggie (tofu/eggplant/etc) in rice vermicelli soup). Again we went in around 2pm so it wasn't that busy.
Second visit - Chicken Dry noodles - also good. Beef Keay Teow was good. Seasoning with chilli paste was good but I used soy sauce for a more Cantonese taste, equally good. Colour of the stir-fried rice noodles would be better if they consider dark soy sauce.
Excellent, friendly service, food was fantastic, and quite affordable. Hits the spot very nicely.
Love the food. Was told today that I couldn't add extra veg to a dish as the kitchen will scold the server. Most dishes have minimal vegetables. Doesn't work for me. Will go elsewhere.
Very clean and lovely staff. Food was well flavoured and arrived promptly.
Overall great visit and will be back:)
Incredible food, plenty on offer, definately adding to a returners lunch amd dinner. The chicken and prawn dim sums, are the best you can get in Adelaide. The Chicken wing side dish, was so fresh and crispy, juicy wings i couldnt stress how great it was, while i only recieved a small amount of sweet chilli, a simple request for more sauce and i was back in heaven.
Very authentic Malaysian food! And very tasty! Would be perfect if self service table water is also provided. Eg filtered water tap near the counter Would score a 5 star. While soft drinks are available in the fridge, they don't suit everyone.
I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! THE WORKERS ARE SO NICE AND WELCOMING! THEY EVEN GAVE US COMPLIMENTARY DISHES A COUPLE OF TIMES! THE FOOD IS SO GOOD AND FLAVOURSOME! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!
First time trying this place. Nice prompt service. All the dishes we ordered was delicious and authentic. Their specials board looked very tasty too. Will have to come back again. Kids ate everything we ordered which is a bonus.
Xiao long bao were not as juicy as they should be. Portion sizes on the smaller side. No table water, was a bit disappointing. Table water to share is standard these days at eateries. Especially a restaurant in the city, it's not a small take away shop.
We stumbled upon this cozy little spot while out with the kids for lunch! Our children were absolutely thrilled and declared it their new favorite place.
We ordered some Thai Fried Chicken and a steaming hot Clay Rice dish. Every single bite was like a burst of unexpected flavors that made our taste buds dance with joy.
But the star of the show? The Honey Charsiew pork tossed noodle – trust me, it's a must-try! We were so eager to devour it that we forgot to snap a photo.
The food here blends Malay and Thai flavors in the most delightful way. We liked it so much that we came back for takeout the very next day.
Here's a friendly tip: don't forget to snap some pics of these scrumptious dishes before digging in. They not only taste fantastic but also look Instagram-worthy.
In a nutshell, this unassuming eatery won us over with its delicious offerings. If you're in the mood for some mouth watering Malay and Thai cuisine, give it a shot – you'll be leaving with happy hearts and full tummies!
Came in on a quiet night. Venue is OK, but certainly a bit rougher than the pretty Insta pictures suggest.
Food was mixed. Chicken was great! Dumplings were great, but ruined by the broth - would have appreciated that on the side. Pork was not so good - cold and a pretty poor portion size. Timing was also messy, but a minor gripe.
Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are very reasonable.
Would eat again.
Just had the most wonderful first time here. The food was amazing, the service so quick and so so friendly. Highly recommend the kimchi beef and cheese rice, a stand out in an super yummy line up.
Also a big thank you to the head of house lady who was super welcoming and so lovely to chat with.
Thank you for the perfect birthday lunch
Everything delicious and beautifully presented. Dumplings came lightly fried and full of filling.
SO GOOD. I'm already thinking about the next time I can eat here. Highly recommend the prawn dumplings with laksa sauce, wat tan hor, fried radish cake and roti bread. I can't wait to try the whole menu.
Authentic food especially the Hainanese Chicken Rice generous portion and the chilli sauce hits the spot granted I just came back from Malaysia few days ago. Also, char kuew teow is one to go for given it has the seasoned wok taste (wok hey) definitely recommend.
It's a shame I can't give more than 5 stars.
This place has only been open for a month or so, but it's dishing out the best Asian food I've tasted.
The Laksa is delicious.
Food is good but don’t offer table water and no cups for sharing drinks which is quite disappointing. They do sell bottle water for $3 though but I believe most restaurant in Australia provides table water. Food comes pretty quickly.
The food is authentic and delicious! Best dumplings around. Can not beat them for their sauces and sambal
