Lovells Bakery Inglewood SA

Google information I found said there were toilets available. Not so, after a long ride to get there us oldies need a wee stop.

I called in to purchase food to go. Was late afternoon boxing day, so not much left. Owner was friendly and made fresh rolls.
My partner had coffee which she said was good.

Driving down from Foreston, stopped in for some coffee pastry and cakes. What a wonderful place to snack

Driven past Lovell's Bakery many times over the years and finally got to stop in.

Nice little bakery/general store with a small outside sitting area.

The staff member greeted us with a big smile and was eager to chat and tell us about the food etc on offer.

Now, as a bloke who has to try a pie at every bakery i stop at, i was looking forward to tucking into a Lovell's plain pie.

As far as pie's go, it definitely wasn't the worst, but it wasn't the best ive had either. But I'll give them another go, still gotta try a sausage roll/pasty and some of their fancier pies.

Im not a sweet tooth, but if you're keen, there was a nice array of doughnuts, cakes etc.

Next time you're nearby definitely pop in and give Lovell's Bakery a go!

We visited this bakery this morning to buy some fuel and have their pies and drinks. My kids suddenly wanted to go to the toilet so I had to ask the lady in the bakery if we could use their bathroom. She said no and kept working. She didn't even tell us where the public toilet we needed to drive to was until we asked. I understood they really didn't have a bathroom on site but at least they could be more caring for the customer with kids desperate to go to the toilet. I as mother felt so disappointed by the unwelcoming attitude of her especially we were really looking forward to having their food.

Hubby randomly pulled in for a late lunch as I was getting hangry on our drive.
This was honestly the best pie I’ve ever eaten with real chunky beef in it.

Also had a sweet pastry treat after which was massive and tasty

Phenomenal! Friendly service, amazing baked goods and fantastic coffee. One of the best bakeries I have ever visited. Will definitely be returning and bringing friends & family.

What a lovely experience! Popped in on the way home from the dog groomer & greeted by a friendly lady with a big smile.

Just was passing through the lady had brought out fresh potatoes pies and would.not let us have them said the are to hot and we have to have the other ones then rudely told as not to touch the EFT cradle as it will crash your customer service is horrible you should not work in small business lady ever never spending my money there again.

Was good in the past but this time, I think the egg and bacon pie was a day old, the egg was like a piece of dried beef jerky. The coffee was very good though.

Nice place to drop in for lunch on the way back from the rocking-horse, support the local places & be covid safe.

Hubby gets to drive through here In his work truck every week. So yesterday he took me there. The coffee, service and prices where great. The scones we brought are just sooo YUMMY!

Good beverages, nice food and helpful staff in the Hills. Could have more than one toilet, though.

While down in Adelaide for a funeral in Jan 2020 I stopped in here and grabbed a "honey Log" OMG!

Best bakery around, and such good value for money. You can get 4 delicious gourmet pies for around 17 dollars, cakes are great too.

First visit on Aug 1st. Lady serving was delightful and helped me out of a predicament. Thank you. Food and coffee also scored very well with me!

Massive selection of pies to choose from as well a great variety of cakes. They also have a few shelves and fridges with other grocery items which can be handy at times.
